Was or is there any religion in your life? What branch? What did/do you get out of it? If you did and don't anymore, what prompted you to leave and how old were you?

Tommy, why do you think so many of the questions and answers so far this week have been focused on silly sexual topics instead of giving us a more meaningful glimpse into your thoughts and your life?

Its like the Infinite Monkey Theorem, if you put X amount of monkeys in a room with a typewriter and ask them to give you Shakespeare 99% of them will fling their shit at you while the other 1% will masturbate in the corner.

If said child ever asked about your promiscuous/crime-riddled past, how much information would you share with them?

Also, what would you name the little beast? (Gimme names for both genders, unless they're the very same)

I would tell my child to be kind to people, but not to be a door mat. There are people out there who are just aching to take advantage of others. It's ok to be nice, but it's necessary to have a backbone and stand up for yourself when the time calls for it. I would also tell him/her to wait to get into a serious relationship. People grow and sometimes they don't grow in the same direction. My advice would be to from him/her to get to know him/herself before allowing someone else into their world. I really think that mid to late 20's is a good time to start thinking about a life with someone else. You all can give me andecdotes about how you're the exception to this, but that's just my general philosophy.

I would tell him/her that I did engage in promiscuous activity and, every now and then, did illegal things. But I never let it fuck up my life. I would try to be as real as possible with my kid about limited drug use without encouraging it. I wouldn't give blow by blow details, but I wouldn't deny things like a lot of parents try to do. At least, that's what I have planned in ideal land. We'll see.

This is a great question. I don't believe in God. I think religions are all fairytales. I used to be very religious, though. Up until about 4 years ago, I went to church every Sunday and participated in young adults/bible study groups. I got confirmed 5 years ago and my confirmation name is Juan Diego. I grew up in a Catholic family. Over 4 years ago, I started feeling this twinge in my body whenever I thought about my religious beliefs. Something wasn't quite right. After many long conversations with myself, I realized that I didn't believe anything that I thought I did. It was an extremely scary, but ultimately liberating experience. I started slowly phasing religion out of my life. I stopped going to church. I started declining my dad's requests to say the prayer before family meals. My dad caught on and had many "Come to Jesus" talks with me. I just told him that I'd be lying to myself if I sat there and went through the motions and took part in something I didn't believe. Every now and then he'll talk to me about it and tell me he's concerned about my lack of faith. He asks me to explain the mountains and why my nieces exist and are so beautiful. I tell him that those things are MORE amazing to me knowing that science created them than thinking some guy in the sky did. The last talk he had with me was maybe a year ago. He's grown to realize that I'm serious about not believing.

I'm not sure if that's the image that I'm projecting or if this board is just sexual in nature. I'm a very sexual person, but probably not as much as I let on. I love answering any question about my life. I'm an open book so ask away. Michael's question about religion was a great one. That's a subject that fascinates me and has played a huge role in my life.

I think it was a tea bottle. The size of a small Gatorade bottle.

I'd have gone with a bag of smashed assholes, so maybe we'll be duking it out at the box office with competing Tommyflicks.

I'm glad I'm not with either serious girlfriend I've had. So they aren't up for consideration. There was a chick in high school who I had a crush on for about 3 years. Her name was (probably still is) Jessica. The thing is, I was kind of a pussy in high school when it came to talking to girls. She threw me all of the signs that she would at least let me lick her nipples, but I completely pussed out. She was one of the hottest girls in school and I had a window of opportunity that lasted about a week. She had perfectly tanned skin and such a sweet sweet ass. That smile still made my balls wet. If I knew then what I know now, which is how to pick up high school chicks, I would've done some fun things to her. I ran into her a couple of years ago. We had a lunch outing planned, but it never materialized. I started seeing someone after I ran into her. In retrospect, I probably should've gone to lunch with her.
    LMAO! That was comedy

Pffft, you'd be better off telling people it was a Tea-Pee instead of a small Gatorade bottle.

I'm not sure if this or a question like it has been asked, so, can you tell us about a time where you just had a fucken blast(!) Whether you were intoxicated on drugs or alcohol or whatever it may be doesn't matter. Just a time that you know you'll never forget and always cherish

Tommy, why do you live in Albuquerque? Do you plan to stay there in the future?

Tommy, how long have you been friends with your oldest friend and how did you meet him/her?

Tommy, how do you feel about current US immigration policy and if you are displeased with it, how would you change it?

AJ sort of stole my thunder because that may have been the most fun night of my life (rolling at Coachella this year). Many of you got to witness it and that makes me happy.

Non-drug/music festival moment: Some friends and I went on a road trip to Phoenix to see a D'Backs game 7 years ago. It was the best mix of friends I've ever had a roadie with. I think the most memorable part of the trip was stopping at a jackrabbit place about 30 miles or so East of Flagstaff. There was a huge fake jackrabbit and it was aching for us to jump on it and do dirty things to it. It's stupid now, but I didn't stop laughing one time throughout the entire trip.

The conversation was way longer than that and it included a lot more hugs.

I grew up in Albuquerque and I just haven't left yet. I went to the University of New Mexico and worked in radio her for 8 years. I would like to leave at some point, it just hasn't happened yet. With the job market the way it is, I'm not convinced it'll happen for a while.

My oldest friend is named Eric and I've known him for almost 13 years. We met in computer class in 9th grade. I don't see him much anymore, but we manage to get together every now and then. Nowadays we really only bond when it comes to sports. We've sort of drifted in other areas. He is very loyal, though, and is someone who I can really trust.

Honestly, I'm not 100% up to date on our immigration policy. I do think that our borders should be open, but we should try our best to make sure people who come here are positive contributers. We will never have a perfect system. We just need to accept that. Overall, from what I know about it, I think we have a good immigration policy. Sure beats some of the alternatives.

The female celebrities who I'm fond of are Diane Lane and Kim Kardashian. Diane Lane is in her 40's, but she looks really good. There's something about older women that I've always liked. Kardashian is kind of a brat, but she is smokin.

If I had to do a male celebrity, it would Russell Brand. I figure a sex addict would just want to have his way with me and let me be on my way. No cuddling, which is ideal in this situation.

Good question. For me, it's a toss-up between Goodfellas and Casino. I'll give the nod to Casino. The scene near the end where Joe Peci and his brother are buried alive is pretty ruthless. I also like James Woods' character and how "human" Robert DeNiro's character is, even though he's supposed to be a badass gangster. I'll admit, I suck at critiquing movies. That's why I stay out of the movie thread. But Casino is a movie I can always put on and never ever get bored with.

I was aware of the message board 2 years ago when I made the decision to attend Coachella for the first time. I read it a few times, but had no urge to join. I didn't end up going last year, but I was interested in the lineup announcement because I thought I might be going at that point. I remember the day the lineup was released and how everyone was pissed at that DJ who announced a fake lineup that featured Muse and Radiohead. From that point I was a lurker. I joined in April 2008 because I had a question about Radiohead tickets. Just a typical newbie post. Suprefan helped me out I think. I probably started posting regularly in July or August. I probably have way too many posts in such a short amount of time, but I got involved in threads where it was easy to get carried away. That fucking Bonnaroo thread got out of control. I'm glad I've become so involved because I've made some really good friends in real life who share my passion for festivals. It's nice to know that I can go to a music festival "alone" and have 20 to 30 people there to hang out with. It's become a positive part of my life. Tommy from 2 years ago would've made fun of Tommy of now for making so many friends off of a message board.

For real. People don't realize that if you sift through the nonsense, a lot of good information is shared and quality people hangout around these parts.

Anywho: At this point in your life what do you think your legacy is? What do you want it to be when all is said and done in the distant future?

Because it's much easier for the poor bastard subjected to this torture (assuming they have a sense of humor) to come up with answers to silly scatological questions than it is to write about your hopes and dreams and relationships without feeling like a boring fagball.

Okay Tommy, Courtney wants esoteric so let's do it: do you believe that humans have free will even though studies of the brain have proven that when presented with a choice, the synapses of the parts of the brain that are responsible for actually making a decision fire BEFORE the parts responsible for logical deduction, reason, and the various other functions that we think we are using every time we perceive ourselves making a decision. Is free will really just mostly an illusion, a backtracking revision of the course of mental events we delude ourselves with because humans are so convinced were are creatures of reason and thought and willpower?

I used to believe in free will. That was until I blew you and, while I was cupping your balls, I thought to myself that this wasn't a choice as much as it was something that just NEEDED to happen. It was totally out of my control.

How often would you say you think your way through to decide against whatever your gut or instinctual reaction was?
