I know that there is a lot of art that I don't like, but I wouldn't want to diminish it.

I don't get this. Please explain. specifically: is all art a matter of personal taste, and in a democratic society one person's taste is as good as another's, and so stuff you think is trite and predictable and foolishly sentimental is OK if other people like it; OR are there certain basic, common-sensical standards that anyone with more than a passing acquaintance with the subject can apply to weed out the chaff?

So my understanding is that you are willing to demean the rest of the art world to a place in the cyber world of blue and tedious diatribe. Yeah, some that comes from here could be seen as art, but I would hope it would be separated to fill a space of it's own control.

i want to get to this later. i got to try and sleep, but want to explore that more and don't want to keep myself up. i got some pointless thoughts on the word art and how everyone qualifies to be able to use it. There are distictions of art and the higher levels of whatever form it takes.

When you think it's cold out, a man from Canada may think it is hot. You consider this art, another man does not. This is why any definition of art is invalid. While art pieces are tangible, the idea of art is not. Things that are commonly considered art are only creations that many people consider to be art. If I say that the Mona Lisa is not art, it is true, because it is true to me.

I hope there is no afterlife because I fear the concepts of eternity and infinity, but I would not write off the possibility. However, I don't think that it is all heavenly in the clouds and stuff. I'm not sure if anyone believes this...

Dude, I used to love playing the Crystal Shards game on my N64. The Kirby game that recently came out on DS is pretty awesome too. N64-style graphics and like 7 storyline games. Makes for hours of gameplay.

If you could go back in time and give any historical figure a punch in the fact that, essentially, would not affect said person's future actions beyond the fact that they got punched in the face, who would you punch in the face?
