I can't start my day without first lighting a ridiculously massive cigar with a thousand dollar bill. After finishing at least half of the cigar, I stub it out in my ashtray, a gold-dipped koala's head. Then, five trained gerbils both select my clothes and help me to get dressed.

I wake up beside my girlfriend in our Brooklyn apartment. The sun is shining, though unlike lately there's a bite in the air and stepping outside doesn't feel as though I'm trapped in someone's mouth.

My daughter is with us, and as we make our way through neighborhood after neighborhood, she forgets about the part where she kvetches about having to try food she's never eaten and goes right on to the part where she realizes it's actually pretty good.

The day involves a stroll through Broopklyn Flea, where I try in vain to return a sweet pair of Rod Laver kicks to a vendor because the size on the tag was wrong and they have me hideous blisters. And then I'll leave the shoes on the sidewalk somewhere for some other fool, like the monkey's paw. Anyway, they had a pubic hair in them when I bought them for 15 bucks.

A concert at Prospect Park or thr Williamsburg Waterfront (which is kinda gross, though has a nice view of Manhattan) would be a good way to finish the day. We'd invite a couple who have a son Madeline's age, and they're friends, so it would be fun for all.

Oh, and after we got home and the kid was in bed, naked adult fun time would begin!

I was living about 45 minutes away from my parents. We were going to go to a football game on a Sunday. They were going to drive to my place Sunday morning, pick me up, and drive me to the game which was like 1.5 hours away.

I went out the night before with this girl I was trying to get on and got all tore up and she ended up shacking up at my place. My parents were coming by at like 7 am, they were calling me and trying to wake me up. Apparently I couldn't wake up. They were knocking on my door and it wasn't waking me up. Then they started to think I was dead. They drove 45 minutes back home. They got an extra key to my place. They drove 45 minutes back. They opened my door and started yelling for me (I was upstairs). This woke me up. I ran downstairs (in my boxers), disoriented, wondering what was going on. Then I remembered about the game. They noticed that there was a pair of hooker boots that this girl wore sitting by my door. They figured out the situation, scowled at me, turned around and drove home and didn't go to the game.

Our team won that game with a last second field goal and was the best game of the year.

1. Born and raised in Connecticut. I have 2 older brothers. They used to beat me up a lot.
2. Of course I started playing a musical instrument when I was in the 5th grade, so I was influenced a lot by classical music and overtures. I'm also a fan of punk/ska. But now, I'll pretty much listen to anything as long as it gets my booty shaking.
3. A friend from CT mentioned it in conversation one day, and when I moved out here, I heard about it more and decided to join her in 2010.
