we share the same birthdate, elizabeth nicole (along with the late jim morrison). hello.
who are your top 3 artists that you'd like to see (or would like to have seen) in concert (dead or alive).
and, i'd follow monklish's instructions about less top. you've got them; flaunt them.
Since I grew up on the Beatles, I would have loved to have seen them in their heyday. Bad Religion got me into punk but for some reason I've never been able to catch them. I'd like to get a chance to see Arcade Fire the next time they tour.
I'll take this advice under review.
2 oz blended whiskey
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1/2 tsp powdered sugar
1/2 slice lemon
Shake blended whiskey, juice of lemon, and powdered sugar with ice and strain into a whiskey sour glass. Decorate with the half-slice of lemon, top with the cherry, and serve.
Nice to meet you Liz. So, how come you live in Raleigh? I saw somwhere you went to school in Florida. Did you move to NC for the job or did you spend some time in NC when you were moving around with your parents?
^ I haven't spent a ton of time in Raleigh, but North Carolina definitely has its ups. I drive through Raleigh often.
Have you ever wanted to take 40 from end to end just for the hell of it? It starts in Wilmington and ends in Barstow, CA. I've dreamt of doing this.
What are your favorite hair metal bands?
Also, it is an unfortunate thing I have to do from time to time because I have one cat with some serious colon issues. It's easier than dropping $300 at the vet each time he gets backed up. He's really old, so it's not something that I will have to do for very long.
Liz, please describe your most outlandish Matanza experience.
You seem to be fairly adept at written communication, which is odd for architects and engineers. Why are you different?
Have you ever changed your mind about a musician or band you used to like because their personality (as you imagined it) changed? "Selling out" for example?
I'll go with Method Man since he's really the only member that I'm familiar with.
So far this week is much more interesting than I thought it would be. Liz, at a show are you an up front kind of girl, a hang in the back, or does it depend on the band?
Say you didn't have a boyfriend and this board was your entire dating pool. Who would you be interested in based on photos, posts, real interactions or whatever and why?
Liz, seeing as how you stated you're living in sin in the bible belt and I'm alll too familiar with this southern evangelical damnation, do you get crap either from your or your boyfriend's family for not getting married? Are there any fanatics in your immediate vicinity which you are forced to deal with on a consistent basis? What would most likely happen if you hung a giant gay pride flag from your porch?

It depends on the band. I'm all for throwing elbows and pushing my way to the front rail if it's going to be a really energetic set, or if it's a small venue. But sometimes it's better to hang in the back; there's something to be said about lying down in the grass at Coachella once the sun goes down to catch a set. I did that for Roger Waters and it made for an excellent experience.
