My first Coachella was in 2008. I was supposed to go with a friend, that turned into a girlfriend, that turned into a weird situation. I ended up going solo and camping with board members from the Solo at Polo thread. It was a great time and I enjoyed the freedom of roaming by myself and not checking in with anyone.

Back in 2004 I had a roommate who went to Coachella in 2001 because he was a huge Bjork and Chemical Brothers fan, he told me about the fest and I always had it in the back of my mind from then on. I started getting serious about going to shows in 2007 and planned on attending Coachella in '08 regardless of the lineup because I wanted to check out a fest. Lucky for me Coachella is my "local" fest.

2009 in general was a letdown compared to 2008, the lineup wasn't doing it for me nearly as much as 2008. I was with two people, one who was extremely annoying, that killed the vibe a lot. Next year I'm planning on going alone again, besides the usual meet-ups with boardies. I need to have a strong lineup for me to go though because finances are tighter.

Favorite popsicle would be an orange creamsicle or a big stick.

Most serious surgery I've ever been through has been my wisdom teeth.

I would live in Spain for a year. Become fluent in the language, lounge around the Mediterranean, hike the Pyrenees, meet beautiful women....

Visit for a month would be Tanzania. Completely explore Mount Kilimanjaro (been a dream of mine) and the surrounding the plains, dodging wildlife and living off the land.

Looks like I was rubbing my balls and looking for some wisdom from Passive. A caption would be- Cdubby gets told by the great Oracle Passive that MBV will be less awesome this time around because of the many cholo's complaining about the noise while they wait for The Cure.

I would tell everyone I know to keep on keepin' on or maybe something about keeping your eyes and ears open for opportunities.
