This could get fantastically ugly!! Pixie, I knew you had to take the throne.![]()
First of all, Thanks to Algunz for the nomination(if that's what you call it).
I will do my best to answer all your questions even Randy's.![]()
I read this question early in the AM but I was in a hurry to get to work.
The first movie that came to my head was "Some Kind of Wonderful".
It was a cheesy John Hughes movie but I loved the Mary Stuart Masterson character. I wanted to be cool like her with her cute little drumsticks.
I wasn't neccesarily interested in kissing Eric Stoltz. He did look better in this movie than he did in Mask though.
im not too familair with dub step either, but am a big fan of skream and bassnectar. check this mix right here, i have been listening to it daily for the past week (you gotta listen to at least 45 minutes of it):

*got it from this board btw
I don't think I could name just one. I've seen some incredible shows.
One that sticks out though would have to be INXS at the Santa Barbara County Bowl. They played every song I had ever heard by them at this point
in their career. Plus they sounded great. The energy was so infectious you couldn't help but dance. Michael Hutchence was on fire. At one point in the show he left the stage, with wireless mic in hand, and made his way all the way to the top of the bowl. All the while singing. On his descent he came right between myself and my friend and put his arm around me and sang a few words. I was not a huge INXs fan but I would have seen them again had he not died a few months later.
Portishead in 2008
Every beat,Every word,Every sound still resonates in my mind. I did not dance. There was no infectious energy. There was pure emotion.
I felt like my whole body was a teardrop. I walked away from that show a
different person. I walked away a lifelong fan.
Well.....you never completely come out. It seems you are always coming out to somebody. That new co-worker who keeps asking you if you are married or the new doctor/gynecologist you have started seeing.(gyno's always want to know what form of birth control you are using, how often you have sex etc.)
Ok. enough beating around the bush. < (Randy will have a field day with this one). The first time I came out it was to my mom and only because she figured it out. She made me tell my sister. They both freaked. I ended up moving out to live with the girl I was dating. She lived with her parents and it was not a picnic. I lost my best friend when I told her and the person who was giving me a ride to school suddenly decided I was going to attack her even though we had been riding together for almost a year.
I was 19 when I came out to my family. 26 when I came out to the rest of the world.
Okay, so I corrected my "fail," and once again learned a valuable Coachella Board lesson...(Please take note, faxman.) Now I'm thinking, if getting to know pixiessp has the potential to be "fantastically ugly," would getting to know me be called "downright ugly?" (Just curious...)
And, pixiessp...I'm sure we've all failed at something atleast once in our live's and hopefully either fixed it, or learned by it. What is your biggest "fail" story, and what was the ending outcome, good, or bad?
I love to ride my bike. Preferably along side the ocean.
I was an avid reader until quite recently. Work has been kicking my butt lately and all I can do some nights is crawl in bed and watch a movie.
Listening to music(of course).
Noodling around on my computer.
Watching College basketball.
Contemplating my next move.
Pixiessp, When did you first realize that you swung for the other team??
And holyfuckingshit thats horrible to hear about all that homophobia you've experienced
Come to Canada

My all time favorite book is "To Kill A Mockingbird"
It's also my favorite movie. I am going to treat this as my fiction book although it is based loosely on Harper Lee's childhood.
I don't read a lot of non fiction but I will take a stab.
Non Fiction:The Year of Living Biblically by A.J.Jacobs.
It is one man's humble quest to follow the bible as literally as possible.
That's what it says on the front of the book and it is hilarious.

First Concert: Probably James Brown at Six Flags Magic Mountain.
It was just called magic Mountain back then. I think I was 16.
My mom took me and my sister and our friend,June. We made her stand in line and hold our spots while we got on the rides. My poor mommy.
When we finally got in someone fired one up and my mom asked us what that funny smell was and we told her it was weed. She then said, very loudly, "oh that's what marijuana smells like". I'm pretty sure she got a contact high.
You know this one already but I will tell you again so all can see and mock.
Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heartclub band movie soundtrack.
You know that atrocious movie made with Peter Frampton and The Bee Gees.
The Ultimate Dinner Party: Would be at my House. I can't cook but would hire someone to.
I would invite: Harper Lee because she wrote my favorite book and I would like to discuss it with her.
Ella Fitzgerald because she is the most remarkable vocalist I have ever heard.
Niccolo Machiavelli because I would like to discuss politics with him.
Harvey Milk because.
Dan White so Harvey Milk can beat the shit out of him then send him back to twinky hell.
Cate Blanchett because she is a great actress and she is HOTTT!!
Shenae Grimes because I don't think she's eaten since Degrassi.
Ray Bradbury because he fed my imagination as a kid.
Martin Luther King because...well do I really need to expound on this.
My Mom because she would have a hell of a time and seeing her having a good time would make me happy.![]()
Good choice on books! Where in the world does your favorite food come from and what is it?
Do you have a favorite movie about lesbians(Chasing Amy, But I'm a cheerleader etc)?
I felt left out of asking lesbian questions.
what's your favorite "old wives tale"?
