I'm heading to NYC for work Sunday, Nov. 2nd - Wed., Nov.5th...

I'd like to catch some of the music scene out there (preferably some EDM).

Can anyone who's been (yes, it's my first time) there recommend any clubs/venues?

Also, anyone know of any sites that would post what's going on those nights? (Such as an LAWeekly, etc).

you guys are great! thank you so much; i knew the all knowing boardz would point me in the right direction.

I will report back here in a day or two once i have a chance to research the sites and dates and let you know what i have in mind. im heading to NY for an advertising conference so we'll be doing LOTS of partying (it's actually an all party trip), with open bars + lavish dinners. im really excited to be honest...HOWEVER, i will have a chance to breakaway whenever i want to run my own agenda...stories and pics to follow upon my return.

I'll be there in 9 days. I'm soooooooooooooo excited. I haven't been back in 3 years and the last 2 times I visited I was pregnant, so I couldn't enjoy the city to it's fullest. This time things could get ugly.

I know i'm bumping this but I just had to say thanks to you guys for this info. I'm heading to NYC in December mainly to see the sights and watch some Broadway drama, but I definitely want to see a bit of the music scene out there. It is New York after all. And this will mark my first trip there as well, so these links are extremely helpful. Thanks guys!
