    Default Zombie Pub Crawl

    Last night was the 4th annual Zombie Pub Crawl here in good ol MPLS. Does anyone else have these in their cities? Here are some pics:

    Yep dress like a zombie then go bar hopping although the people who were supposed to bring me makeup ran out by the time they got to my house. Although that actually ended up working to my advantage since my other friend's bachelor party was last night too and I don't think strippers like zombies.

    This is why I hate Los Angeles sometimes, nobody could ever agree to do something this fun out here because their heads are too far up their asses, also the cops would ruin everything if you even tried.

    The police didn't interfere once and even all the people not participating just laughed and went with it even when zombies started to "eat their brains".

    That's great, in certain parts of LA you get hassled for smoking a cigarette on the street let alone dress up in cool get ups and pub crawl. Anybody know of any cities in California that do fantastic shit like this?

    Whiskey Sour

    2 oz blended whiskey
    Juice of 1/2 lemon
    1/2 tsp powdered sugar
    1 cherry
    1/2 slice lemon

    Shake blended whiskey, juice of lemon, and powdered sugar with ice and strain into a whiskey sour glass. Decorate with the half-slice of lemon, top with the cherry, and serve.

    As long as your sister isn't part of the "we're bergamot station, we're so white crowd", I would like to invite myself and 3 friends to this year's event! One drink per bar is mighty difficult.

    Last night was the Zombie walk here in Austin. It kicks off a week long movie event at tha Alamo Draft house called Dismember the Alamo.

    Fuck, I would absolutely love to get this thing going here. I don't think we'd ever top Mr. Hanky Zombie, or the Brain-eatin' Bride though... And I'm not sure the low shuffling speed of a traditional zombie would be as suited for effective pub-crawling as I'd like, so I reckon I'd go for a 28 Days Later zombie.
