This is in person or on youtube. Post what you think is if it can top this..
My God that's a lot of people.
Gotta be Glastonbury.
still gives me goosebumps
Leo does a rip of the Coachella performace exist in good quality video like the video you just posted?
Daft Punk LA
If you go to 2:20, you will see where i had my balls kicked in...place WENT BONKERS.
go to :50 on this one...
i was middle, about 1/4 from the front...right in that mass of awesomeness.
Oh, Radiohead at Glastonbury 1997 was better.... The Pyramid Stage sank into the ground and whatnot. It was named #1 gig in a book called '' I was there''. And I just found a nice quality dvd of glasto 2003, its pretty sweet. And, Fake Plastic Trees in Dallas this past May and at L.A. Night 2 was better, cause I was f**ing there.
edit, to the DP l.a. vid, yeah that ruled, it was cool being all the way up front in front of the pyramid for it.
That is simply beautiful.
what? supre's ego?
Another perspective of when Calmer's balls got kicked in (happens at the :06 mark):
This show was fucking excellent, but the Coachella performance ranks higher for me (primarily because of the anticipation).
the violent femmes add it up tour 1994. this isn't the actual show i was at but you get the picture.
I guess it was 12/15/93 at The Hunteridge Performing Arts Center in Las Vegas. I had just turned fourteen. I can still remember it like it was yesterday.

Those Daft Punk videos gave me goose pimples. I have to find video of my Daft Punk show at Vegoose or something. Maybe a Muse show.
1. Run to a nice patch of grass on the fields and lay face down.
2. Tilt your head ninety degrees with your forehead temple resting on your forearm and watch people through the vision pocket right underneath your armpit hair.
3. Do this for a few hours until you get comfortable.
A Daft Punk thread containing 'nothing of substance'. How bout that.
Daft Punk in LA was pretty good, pretty huge crowd...my eyes were just fixed on that stage that night...I cant believe people were actually in seats
Upcoming Shows:
Pitchfork Festival: 7/19 @ Union Park
Mountain Oasis Festival: 10/25-27
I still hate that I didn't get floor seats... But whatever. Daft in LA will always hold a place that's near and dear to my heart.
EDIT: Paul B, no one within eyesight of me was sitting down so I have no idea what you're talking about man.
The sound on this video sucks, but I posted it because the lights fucking owned me. This is Muse in June of 2006 at the Celebrity Theater in Phoenix doing Assassin. Pay attention to the beginning and also at 1:50 and 3:10.
The audio is a little better on this one. This is Muse at Red Rocks on September 18th, 2007. They closed with this song, Stockholm Syndrome.
I still have yet to see a show top this intimate performance in nyc
Upcoming Shows:
Pitchfork Festival: 7/19 @ Union Park
Mountain Oasis Festival: 10/25-27
Seats? I thought those things were just there to keep everybody dancing in formation! I don't think one person was using them to sit in!

Beastie Boys Coachella 2009 Fuck the Wolrd!!!
my best Bjork show ever...a stunning performance of Storm...she doesn't perform this live anymore...plus add Fuji Rock as a backdrop...
Daft Punk at Red Rocks...I am still recovering from this.
how about Declare Independance by Bjork at Coachella 07, that was pretty mind blowing
Upcoming Shows:
Pitchfork Festival: 7/19 @ Union Park
Mountain Oasis Festival: 10/25-27
also from Fuji Rock...the best Massive Attack show I have ever been to. Their stage set up their was sick...They later said they could not tour this stage set up in the US because it would have bankrupted them...and this is also for the naysayers that say they can't headline Coachella...they were headliners here...
was that 06 you went to Fuji rock or what?

That must've been amazing man. I'm with you on the Beasties playing Paul's Boutique in its entirety. That would be too sick. My friends and I would play the shit outta High Plains Drifter and Car Theif in high school and that album ranks as one of my favorites to this day.
