Curses! After a particularly crazy Bad Religion show in 2006 (Vancouver) I had a fair bit of blood down the front of a 2003 warped tour t-shirt. I threw the t-shirt away soon after and the picture died with an old cell phone. Too bad, it was pretty a sweet shot.
my first concert tee.
i have a lot, and im not going to take pictures of them. but i will say I FUCKING LOVE CONCERT MERCH!!!! mmm...
I don't know exactly why, but I have been to hundreds of shows over 20 years, and I have never once bought a single concert T-shirt
'99-'11...
Beastie Boys 2005 concert t-shirt
MBV 2008 t-shirt
Coachella 2008 t-shirt
thats it, not too much into the concert/band t-shirts, more into the posters.
July 21- Soundgarden- Bill Graham Civic Auditorium
July 30- Rage Against the Machine/Muse- LA Coliseum
Oct 21- Portishead- Berkeley Greek
Nov 18- Pixies- Fox Theater Bakersfield
my favorite.
shocking....
i'm actually wearing it right now. its sooo fucking comfortable.
I've got some good ones. my favorite at the moment might be my neon orange Midnite Vultures Beck tee. It IS the drug shirt

For some reason, I've always disliked buying shirts at concerts probably because I like my hands free while watching a show
i have such a beef with band tees.
the girl shirts are either too small or not long enough. and the guys shirts are so huge at the sleeves, i look like a pillowcase. i wish more people would use AA for the shirts...i don't want to be a giant pillow.
that being said i'm pretty sure i have shirts from
my bloody valentine
of montreal
the decemberists
the arcade fire
health
new order

i've pretty much stopped buying shirts at shows and getting vinyl instead.
I used to have hundreds of records, then they all got stolen or lost. Now I figure the only reason to buy vinyl is if yr a curmudgeonly dj, or collect them for fun. Concert tees are a collectible memento that you can wear, they also make it more likely that you will attract people with similar taste in music.
I can't tell you how many girls I have dated just because of the band or festival on my tee.

We must have been partying together then...i was at LA, as well as vegoose (obviously)...several other members from the board were as well.
I was staying at that hotel, and definitely raged my face off with MSTRKRFT at the revolution bar. (From 2am - 6am???i cant recall exactly)...but it was SO SMALL AND SO AWESOME.
Were you there in beginning? I had already been awake for some 50 hours at that point, but the one thing i will never forget is when they took down the red ropes around the stage and everyone rushed it...that was amazing.

Oh yes. The most recent Radiohead IR tour tee "You'll go to hell for what your dirty mind is thinking" gets a lot of fun comments. My favorite was a cute girl sitting at the bar as I'm waiting for my drink. We had made eye contact a moment before so when I got my drink and looked back at her she looks at my t-shirt, looks up at me and with little grin says "will I?" That was a good night.
My first and still favorite concert shirt:
my first real concert: Fishbone, Dino Jr, Tool, RATM, Alice in Chains, Primus and more..unreal.
