We've been trying to choose and squabbling over differing opinions for nearly six months now. Look anywhere else on this board, pretty much every thread devolves into, "gahh, I really want to see (insert unattainable band here) at Coachella 2009."

I read an article where Jack was quoting as saying he's going to get back with Meg once he's done touring with the Racs. I had no indication they actually started working on the new album!!!

dont take it the wrong way, quadro, but im going to process this news with a heavy grain of salt. I dont want to get my hopes up too much, yknow? But my red pants are ready, just in case

well it's not me, it's billboard's word you'll have to take.

i think he'll get bored with the racs and finish up the next album soon. i'm going to say spring 2009.

it's just as well that he takes his time, i have a pair of red jeans and black jeans that need to be made into one, and that'll take some time...

edit: he didnt beat him blind. the injuries were greatly exagerated on his part to promote his band's (the von bondies) new album at the time

I know that Von Bondies guy is probably a dick, but let's face it, Jack White doesn't exactly scream "Balanced and rational individual". Plus, C'Mon, C'Mon is a cracking song.

What was I saying? Oh right, Jack White creeps me out a little bit. Because I can completely picture him running, say, an eccentric chocolate factory, or Neverland, or some sort of haunted orphanage.

That entire album (Pawn Shoppe Heart) is actually really good. JW is completly balanced and rational, when he's not coked up of course. This was the one and only incident, from 2004 might I add. God, I really do

him though

I'm just saying, if I ever need a babysitter, and Jack White's all like "Aw man, I got you covered, no problem, you go and enjoy yourself, I'm taking it easy this weekend anyway!" I'll politely decline and go and find a number for those nice fellows from Coldplay instead.

If I come back and find my kids all named after vegetables or something though, I'm going to be pissed off.
