Okay, next Saturday I have a really hard choice to make and I want you to decide my fate. The following three bands are playing Vegas and I can only go to one: Foghat, Kings of Leon, and Santogold. Please feel free to tell me why.

I certainly have heard of her. I wish I had seen her at Coachella in April but Foghat,well they are getting up there in age and who knows how much longer they will be kickin. Santogold is a baby.plenty of time to see her.

I'd love to see KOL but not sure if you own anything from them. I had to listen to their CD over 10 times to finally get them. You may not want to put the effort in.

I've been listening to Santigold's self titled recently. There was a thread awhile back asking to pick either Santigold or MIA. I had chosen MIA and still would. Santigold is in a completley different catagory than MIA. Her songs are more 80's pop. As a matter of fact, we need a blood test to make sure she isn't Dale Bozzio's granddaughter. She sounds so much like her.

KOL. I've seen them several times and they are great live, BUT - disclaimer - while Youth and Young Manhood and Aha Shake Heartbreak were really great albums, I'm not really into Because of the Times or Only by the Night at all.

In the documentary film Spinal Tap Goes to 20, members of the band claimed that the plot and many of the incidents in This is Spinal Tap were based on Foghat.

No. I don't think that any of these shows will sell out so it's still up for grabs. I guess if I go with my buddies it will be Foghat or Kings of Leon and if I go with my lady we will probably check out Santogold.

Santogold was sick! I saw her at the HOB in Las Vegas. The bass bumped and, you know, the beats are crazzy. Sounded better than the cd. Her crew was actually up at the Foundation Room after and I busted a few moves on the same dance floor as her sexxy dancers. I was cool...for a minute.


That was the last show I went to. I might try to check out CSS on Tuesday and of coarse I'll be at the NIN show next Saturday.

I'm bummed that I missed Matisyahu...I bet he'll be a Coachella this year.
