Animal Collective Mysteriously Announce New Album?

All of the songs on setlist.fm are using the fan titles. For instance, "Knock You Down" is probably called "Monkey Riches".

Makes sense, I was surprised they had names. Last time I saw this setlists they were all untitled


Anyone know which one this is? It's the only bit I captured from their set:

I listened to the 7" in the car on my way to work this morning, since I'd only given them a few computer listens and wanted to pay more attention to what was going on.

Holy hell, "Gotham" is an incredibly structured piece of work. I hope the album has this much guitar stuff going on. Thank god Deakin is back, I guess.

I was a little bummed that the studio version of "Honeycomb" didn't have all the screamy bits they do in the live version. I hope the same doesn't happen with the rest of the album.

thanks. A couple of days old, but here are a few more thoughts from Avey about the underlying concepts of Centipede Hz (via P4k) for those that are interested.
