From their Facebook page this morning:
Hey, Centipede Hz pre-orders are up now on our new online store (the baby steps towards a real website continue)!

    http://dominorecordco.com/centipedehz

The album is available in 3 formats - Deluxe LP, Standard LP, and CD. The details of each format can be found on the page. All pre-orders will come with a bonus DVD including HD audio of the album, and live video excerpts from our Prospect Par...k show in 2011.

Be sure to check out the rest of our store at http://www.myanimalhome.net/store.

We're still in the process of collecting all available items from our back catalog to have for sale on there, as well as old shirts, posters and some other exclusives that we're thinking about, so if you don't see what you want, please check back another time.

    Enjoy and take care,

Just for the idea that a lot of people showed up expecting to hear the "hits," which, for all intents and purposes, wasn't what 2011 AC tour was about. I saw so many people being turned off by this (read: people who only like bands that play "hits" they can identify, then talk through the rest of the songs they don't know or care about ), but no one cares about those people, because they suck. Too many people were there to say they saw AC play "their fave song" aka My Girls instead of immerse themselves in the amazing sounds those dudes produce. Show was amazing. About 70% crowd was not. I'm scared for what Sigur Ros show is going to be like there....will be the first time I'll be seeing them outside since Bjork/Sigur Ros Coney Island show back in 2003!

Black Dice were awesome too. I loved when some hipster got escorted out during their set because he yacked all over the place. Get it together, dude. Hold your shit!

ps Dave's sister designed their set last tour so hopefully she'll do it again for this upcoming tour....

My guess is that's the special edition artwork. Maybe wrong? It says on the Domino site that the Limited Edition record will have a foil-embossed sleeve. That seems like what a foil-embossed version of the original artwork looked like, to me anyway.

I think they did change the artwork for all versions. The deluxe version is going to be those glossy covers, slightly sturdier, and 180g. Ordered my copy. Two months!

The "new Avey tare songs" just sound like transitions in his DJ set that he attributed to himself. P4k is getting a hard on over nothing.

I'm not sure how I feel about these new songs. I liked Today's Supernatural more every time I heard it, but now that I've heard Applesauce it sounds a bit too samey...I dunno, they both just sound kind of hollow. I'm sure higher resolution rips will reveal a lot more in each of them, but at the moment I'm not too blown away.

You'd have to remain pretty open-minded about it to enjoy it if that's the only song of theirs you really enjoy. They get weird live.

I think the era of "My Girls" is over. Haven't they been saying that this new album might turn off a lot of people who got into them with that song?

Wait, since when do you care about "high resolution rips"...haha! Have you turned to the "dark" side now.

I can understand why you feel this way about "Applesauce", but I wonder if it would be better to listen to this album as a whole. I feel like this album really beckons that sort of attention. But, there's a lot more going on in this song that will definitely be revealed under proper listening conditions....and live for sure!

    It's almost here!

Finishing transcribing my interview with them over the next couple of days. Thanks to some of you (bmack in particular) I went in with a lot more to work with than I anticipated, which was helpful as it lasted longer than I'd been told it would.
