Yeah, but with that cover it's gotta be their best album.
I was referring to the artwork of MPP, not the album. Clearly the cover FEELS posted trumps it. Real talk though:
It was really important for us to do something that sounded a little bit rawer, more excitable. Higher energy. To me, Merriweather has this more mellow atmosphere; the pace and tempos on this one are a lot quicker. We just wanted to do a lot of jammers, and not a lot of ambient, spacey stuff. It was nice to take a break from that.

That would be nice. Because as it stands... I'm looking at going to Seattle and then going to ATP from there.
2 FOX SHOWS. 2MANYFEELS. Can't fucking wait. Presale for both Oakland shows begins this Thursday at 10am. I'm working on finding the password. If someone else comes up on it before I do could you hook a brother up??

I can't decide whether to go to both Animal Collective shows in Oakland or just one.
I should probably just do one so I can also afford a Beach House ticket.

I would be most welcoming of another Troubadour show, although I doubt I'd be able to score tickets this time around.
Hollywood Forever would be nice too but not very "small".
Just bought a ticket for the Seattle show. Guess I'm taking a longer ATP vacation this year.
I love the venue they're using in austin. an outdoor ampitheatre setting that reminds me of the outdoor stage. all GA and only $40 for the show.

Love it.Speaking with The Stool Pigeon, Dibb talked about the direction AnCo are favoring with the album:
"I remember saying, 'This is going to be harder for people to swallow.' There's no doubt about it: people are going to react to this….There was an instant melodic gratification to Merriweather and I think we intentionally made a record this time that is a lot more…um… [laughs] We took a left turn at weird town."
"From the first note of Merriweather you’re like, 'Oh my God, I just wanna dance' or 'My heart's exploding.' This is more like, 'This is amazing but I'm confused and I don't quite know what's going on and I think I need to listen to it again and maybe I should turn it off.'"
Josh is exaggerating. It might be like that for *some* of the newbs who latched on at MPP. For older fans, it will be more like you'll have wood.

Artwork for Centipede Hz
wow, that's horrible
EDIT: I feel like this could be a joke

If Centipede Hz causes an erection that lasts for more than 4 hours, contact your drug dealer immediately.
The title reminds me of Total Recall lettering for some reason. Or some 80's action flick.
