I really want to go and see them as well. Is the singer, Eldritch, the only remaining original member. Also, Wayne Hussey (he used to date my old french teacher) from The Mission UK and SOM is doing a solo tour. I missed the California dates though.
Upcoming shows:
it appears I am done with shows for the year. the holiday season is upon us and i work in retail management(I know,I know).we don't get to make any time off requests between mid.October and December 25th.
If they were to play in Ventura County or even Santa Barbara County I could go. I pray the Ventura Theatre books them.
Whiskey Sour
2 oz blended whiskey
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1/2 tsp powdered sugar
1 cherry
1/2 slice lemon
Shake blended whiskey, juice of lemon, and powdered sugar with ice and strain into a whiskey sour glass. Decorate with the half-slice of lemon, top with the cherry, and serve.
I saw them a couple of years ago. Don't get your expectations set too high. It was Andrew and two guitarists, one of whom didn't appear to do anything but jump up and down. They sounded good, but really we might as well have been listening to a Greatest Hits CD in a smoke filled room.
And I saw them in 1991 and they were brilliant, so I do have a fair reference point.
Like the Stevie Nicks song? I don't recall that. I'm sure we didn't get a full set. Maybe 75 minutes and they had to stop the show for 5 or 10 minutes because people were getting crushed. That actually was one of the scariest crowds I've ever been in. I was up against the baricade all evening, but we retreated about 2 songs into SOM. It was like being in a zombie movie, just this wall of goth kids slowly pushing forward.
Nope, here's the west coast swing...

2008 November 29 San Diego California House of Blues
2008 November 30 Anaheim California House of Blues
2008 December 02 Los Angeles California Henry Fonda Theater
I guess they could squeeze Phoenix in on the 21st. Crowd was pretty sparse in '06...I bet they just won't bother.
always good to see some Ventura Theater love here. I miss living down the street from that place. So many good shows...Aquabats, Flogging Molly, Snoop Dogg, Queens of The Stone Age, BloodHound Gang...
theres a lot of interesting stuff coming too. I want to make it to Gwar, maybe Reverend Horton Heat. And it's not Ventura Theater without Bone Thugs stopping by at twice a year. I'm sure they will stop by again on their reunion tour
Then I will hold you down and spit her percolations all over you until you're as greasy as the day she regrets pushing your big fat ass out her big fat cunt.
Well don't really expect to see them. I have never seen a band pump so much smoke/fog into a show...unless you were within 2 rows of the stage all that you saw was colored fog...no im not exaggerating. I hope your shows are better than when I saw them as I rank it as one of, if not the worse, show i have been to.
I saw them on one of the dates they did with public enemy back in 91. I also saw them in 2006 in Dallas the show was pretty cool but there were a lot of stupid young goth kids trying to mosh and it ruined the show
Ah, if only I could go to Disneyland on my wedding anniversary and see them at the House of Blues! I don't think Jacob cares about them at all though.
