I think that is why they are redoing this match to make up for last years match. Outside of Jericho and Cena no one else really for him to have a match against. I would have put my money Jericho but like you said that going to be Jericho and CM Punk. Cena is already out of the equation also. If they didn't have Cena lose to the Miz at this past Wrestlemania then it would have been pretty sweet to have streak vs. streak match but that's gone now. I'm sure if this is really going to be either one's last match then they are going to pull out all of the stops and have it better then last years match.

WTF?? HBK needs to stay retired? He's only the best fucking wrestler the WWE ever had. He's not a 60 year old Flair you know...

True, I think he had a huge ego, and was in large part responsible for the downfall of Bret Hart, but there's no denying he was probably the best worker in the ring, AND could deliver great promos. Seriously, he had the match of the year for like 10 years straight. I would love to see him still performing weekly.

    yes

false...both The Rock & Stone Cold are FAAAR better wrestlers. not only imho, but the 50 greatest wrestlers in WWE history (as voted by wrestlers themselves), Stone Cold beat out HBK...i think The Rock may have as well.

You can't be serious...The Rock and Stone Cold better than HBK??? That is a joke. Between the two of them they have like 10 moves.

maybe so, but the stunner = one of the best finishers ever (yes i realize it's basically just a jawbreaker) his entrance music was/is still one of the best ever, AND the storyline of STone Cold Vs The McMahons (The Corporation) has to be either the best storyline they've ever created or a close second (behind the DX stuff)

and Mick Foley, b/t all his personas, had more moves than HBK. what's your point?

incl Mick Foley, they're all more interesting in story lines and finishing moves then HBK. is HBK more athletic, sure? HBK's peak was in DX, i'm not saying he's a bad wrestler, he should just stay retired.

did you even watch the DX reunion like last year, when HBK was A FUCKING FRY COOK? pathetic...

You are trying to compare all the wrong things. In the ring HBK looked better than either of those two, besides Foley in a hardcore match of course

His peak was in DX??? Did you watch anything from 2003-2009? Or 92-96 (except for Bret Hart here)? He was arguably the best guy on the roster during those time frames. You watch Rock, or Stone Cold for 5 mins, and you've seen everything they'll do for an entire match....watch HBK, and he'll keep you on the edge of your seat for 45 mins. I was a big HBK hater, but I give the guy proper respect where it's deserved. And the last version of DX was for the PG era, so they made it as goofy and stupid as they could, that was sorta the point (the cook, the little people court, etc). Dumb? Yeah. Entertaining sorta? Sure.

This. When I was younger I thought the rock and stone cold were the greatest wrestlers ever. Then I watched the rock tag team with Cena at Survivor Series and he was a complete joke of a wrestler. Then after watching you tube videos of his older matches it confirmed this. All he had was great promos and had a way with words.

HBK no question is/was way better of a wrestler then those two guys. IMO though the best WWE wrestler post Brett Hart was Chris Benoit, just a shame he did what he did and now doesn't even exist in the WWE world (rightfully so though). The best person who had the best wrestling skills and promo combination is Jericho.

The no blood rule is pretty stupid, I'll agree....even the previous PG era (which everyone tends to forget - prior to 1997, WWF/WWE was pretty much ALWAYS PG) had blood (though the guys were sometimes fined for it - ie Ric Flair at WM8). I don't think blood should be used every match though, it should really only be used (talking blading here, not legit cuts) every now and then to get the full effect.

I'll also admit that I like Daniel Bryan's heel character...while I do think his character is screwed up for future use (because fans hate him, and even heel commentators hate him, so who really likes him?), he needed something, and his face character wasn't going anywhere (though WWE sorta screwed that up, for they could have built him up to be this honest hardworking guy, who was gonna cash in at WM, but didn't)...but tev...he's funny, and I enjoy his promos and matches.

It's really not that bad. I went over 10 years without watching or paying attention to it. Then last Wrestlemania my roommate and I ordered it on impulse and I've been watching it ever since. Yes it's not the greatest thing in the world and often get stupid story lines but it's just nice mindless enjoyable entertainment.

As cool as it would be to see Santino win the title (because he actually is a decent wrestler), you can't take his character seriously and after a day or two, him holding the belt would come off as a bad joke. I do think he should get another run at the US or Intercontinental title, but I forget that WWE doesn't give two shits about those titles anymore.
