that nirvana one would look cool with a matt in light blue to bring out the blue in the text. just my opinion.
I did after I looked at it longer. If you look at the shades next to the poster it starts to look smaller...that and I checked the dimensions online and it is the same size.
here are some of my posters. I was at these shows as well. couldnt find all of them online, the others I'll have to take photos of.
this above is glowing in the dark

and of course this one...
couldnt find my hot chip @ fonda, old crow medicine show @ the fillmore, beck/cat power @ fonda, bonnaroo 2007 (honey comb), air @ hollywood bowl, hot chip (the warning limited poster), the little ones/small sins zune tour poster (bees), death cab @ tipitinas (new orleans, the o.g. house of blues) phantom planet @ fingerprints and sparklehorse @ fingerprints.
shit, thanks man! i just bought one!
damnit, i got so excited when i saw it that I didnt read the fine print. I might have thought twice knowing its "slightly damaged", but oh well. For 20 bucks (including shipping) hopefully it will be very minor and still worth it.
i went to one of those PJ shows at the forum, but can't remember if I was able to get one before it sold out...
Let's go on a livin' spree!
I never see these things at any of the shows, yet they seem to exist. Hell, at Metric in 06 I even looked at the merch before staking out my spot up front.
I so want that MBV poster.

I check online after a show a lot of times if I am unable to find a print at the show. They go fast as was the case with the MBV above. If you can find out who the artist is and go to their website you can contact them personally. They usually seem happy to provide a print...unless they are individually hand made as was the case with the okkervil river @ henry fonda. those were very limited but were at the merch booth...so I grabed one
edit: yeah I am seriously considering custom framing my mbv as opposed to the usual dry mount to foam backing with protective coating applied to the surface...I love doing that because the poster pops out from the wall more but with such a rare event like mbv it kinda deserves a framing.
Well where did you even get the poster to begin with? I saw not one person who had one in hand at the mbv shows. so yeah.......
Maybe they were all sold the first night.

I like this thread...
I got hooked on the Stanley Donwood stuff at one point and have prints from the Karma Police, and No Surprises singles. Limited to < 300 each, numbered and signed.
Plus the Eraser cover on mulberry paper (#7/13), the Hail to the Thief cover on a red background (#3/25), and a bunch of his other stuff that doesn't relate to a radiohead cover.
As a side note:
How badly does it damage a print/poster to be rolled up in a tube for 2-3 years???? I am getting really worried because I don't have money to get like 20 posters framed. They are all on acid free archival stock....

I'll be at Aaron Brothers this weekend for frames.

Then I will hold you down and spit her percolations all over you until you're as greasy as the day she regrets pushing your big fat ass out her big fat cunt.

i'm on the fence about the Travis one. it's really nice, but i didn't realize how small it is. I'll probably end up getting it anyway. I just placed my order for that white Daft Punk. The white poster against black frame is quite striking. 10% off code at pushposters.com. all came out to $30, not bad at all. Between movie posters, artwork from Thailand and concert posters I have more than enough to fully decorate a house.
Still if anyone comes across a site that has posters for...
Any Flogging Molly LA show
Decemberists @ Troubadour
Travis @ Wiltern
Queens of the stone age @ Ventura/Greek
Blackalicious @ Troubadour
let me know! thanks

this is the exact dilemma i have, except some of mine are way older than 2 years. and money isnt the only problem, but having the space for 20 framed posters on my walls. man, i didnt think being rolled up would damage them at all. i should really do something about all those things, just dont know what.
Let's go on a livin' spree!
some of his pieces are smaller which work out nice in the right place. His mudcrutch poster is pretty large though. I usually do the drymounting on black foam backing with wood mounting blocks. It pops from wall nicely especially with no frame distracting from the image. Some works deserve a nice framing though. Yeah that was a good deal from pushposters, I've seen it before.
this is a good link for purchasing posters. I posted it above as well.

Let's go on a livin' spree!
These are some other pictures i had of poster booths at Vegoose last year:
i have a few Flatstock pictures from Bumbershoot 2005. If you have never been to the fine festival up yonder, poster artists show off their wares convention style. Very cool. i'll try to get those up sometime soon.
Coachella should have a poster booth like that for '09.
