For framing it's pretty diy. I get lots of my frames at the salvation army auctions, resale shops, and this awesome art recycling place that has tons of cool junk

Well, Blink are having an artist do a print every month on the 20th for their 20th anniversary and also have print at every tour date in Europe. $$$
They even have Tyler Stout pegged to do one which I find to be an odd pairing.
No worries! Should be a great time with lots more pieces to be seen. Hopefully I make it to the opening.
Still need a great chicken dance print and one for mrs featherbottom!
i ended up getting two prints of the glow in the dark variant at a screening of the thing last friday

I'd love to visit the screenprinting shop that was doing this run. Doing Struzan right, thought I am personally disappointed at a lack of title work. Shouldnt be the original 1 sheep crap font but seeing the teared graphics that start the movie off at the bottom would have been great in GID.
So, you going to sell your 2nd copy? Muahaha and so soon to reach this price. http://www.ebay.com/itm/GID-VARIANT-...#ht_500wt_1182
i was disappointed too, i was hoping for something different than the original artwork. it's still pretty cool in person but i decided to actually sell both, you know, help pay some bills and whatnot
For sure. As much as I appreciate Struzan's artwork and legacy in the movie poster world, especially as a prime influence on Mondo and the current scene of movie posters, I have to say that this was a bit of a phone in. I mean the artwork has been available for 30 years now and the original 1 sheets are collector's item too. Its just kind of a weird thing because Drew painted it without even seeing the movie the night before it was due. Its iconic but unless you already know about it it is somewhat detached from the film. And at that cost...ouch.

Jesus Christ... And just think what you could have gotten if you held onto it. I'll never understand the people that bought a regular today for $250 to go on eBay and sell it for $480. After ebay and PayPal fees it doesn't end up being all that much (in relative terms). Struzan is like a good stock if you're going to play that game. Hold on to them.
good stock, i have an original edward weston print that's signed. now that's good stock
Insomnia-driven framing. Everything from 5x5s to 24x36s. Destoyed my fingers.
*not pictured but also framed up: Breaking Bad Daniel Danger, Double Ghost Olly Moss, Battles Echoplex Ivan Minsloff, Jack White Mayan Rob Jones, and Radiohead Glendale Donwood.
