Look at EB some. All of those Pearl Jam and Vedder prints are on there, or at least you find out the artist and search more specifically online. Pearl Jam have a pretty big poster collecting following and I'm sure you could unload that 3 Gibson Amp set or any pretty easily. I think you should save that Phish poster for your future beach house! It's pretty sweet.

Wasnt there, but he's been known to be commissioned by the promotor and not the band. In that case they would use them as gifts for the band vips etc. so you wouldnt see them at the merch booth. You'll have to grab one of his APs.

K, time to geek out. All of these artist that do incredible work for Mondo are seriously missed from the regular basis gig poster world (except Tong who does plenty). I guess thats the trend.

No, I don't work for Mondo. I'm just really excited about The Avengers film. And there is a 7th print coming out next week which I assume will be of the whole team.

Most of the Mondo guys are professional illustrators that probably a make a lot more money doing concept art, product illos, and their own prints than they would doing gig posters.

Yeah I understand that. My point is more that there is a huge trend of movie prints being where it's at currently. I mean some times you look at EB's front page and you don't even see a gig poster anymore. And I just wish all of them would do more gig prints, selfishly.

Those corporate licensing fees and the much higher retail prices help with that. i agree about the gig poster thing though.
