Are any of those Arcade Fire posters possibly from their show in Columbus in Oct. 07 with LCD Soundsystem? I attended that show and have been hoping to find a gig poster one of these days...

Well - ya know the AF put a few back up on their site last week - check their site and see if they still have them, I'd rather you pay $15-20 than $50-$70.

I'm not sure if these are signed originals, but it looks to be the same Burlesque stuff, so have at it, $15 is great!

I have this hanging in my room, 1 of 500 printed. It's one of my favorite pieces of art... (ps, i was there, so it makes it even better)

did you have trouble framing this? when I tried to frame it I had issues because the text gets so close to the edge of the poster, the frame would cover part of it.

This is a guy known as Michael Motorcycle. Those are his posters. i took this at Vegoose last year primarily because that Cure poster for the Curiosa Tour is a gift i got for a friend of mine (well before this encounter...i got the poster for far less than that tagged price of 200). So i figured i'd take this picture too.

yeah, many designers price as the supply goes down. I know his work, I think I might have 1 or 2.

yeah that was the idea, I had trouble picking a color for the matt though. I don't remember why black didn't work... I was simultaneously trying to pick one for the other daft punk LA poster which had a black background, which proved to be even more tricky. so I was curious what calmer ended up doing.

Pearl Jam stuff is more limited as it is hand pulled by Ames Bros.

Yeah you can do that - tell them Cary Whitt sent ya - it may help, then again, maybe not.

I know the Farm Barn guys personally. Dru is good people, I know they sold out of them the soon after the show, but I can ask him about it this week if you like.

As far as the second one, I'm not sure that ever got produced (officially) as it was never for sale and not done for either the band or promoter, unless I didn't see it. That person does a lot of posters (mostly bad imo) around here though.

Is contacting the artists the way to go on that website in general, though? I love the Sigur Ros poster up for the show I saw back in June...

Yes, I got it on the ...... Jilted Generation tour. I can't even remember when it was exactly. I'm thinking late '93 into early '94.
