So basically, the frame will cost more than the poster, that kind of sucks.
i got those frames for 8.99 at marshalls. came with the matting.
one of the only ones in my collection that i actually have framed:

Let's go on a livin' spree!
i also have a Decemberists one from their Hollywood Bowl show.
and an Of Montreal one from their last tour.
I wear a shirt all the time with a very similar Wayne drawing that says "BECKON THE PAINING EXISTS??!!" on the back.
I love that shirt...
I always think it's cool when I see a poster I love from a band that I'm not all that in to. It makes me want to reevaluate my opinion of their music. The Flaming Lips one might qualify.
90% of the shows I've attended seem to have no poster![]()

All of the (four) posters I own are from shows I attended, but I could understand someone buying one because they like the artwork.
I always go for the t-shirts with my $25.
Chicken pot, chicken pot, chicken pot piiiieeeeeeeee!
I see posters on insound for gigs I've actually attended:

Was really hoping there would be a poster for the Asobi Seksu Halloween fun times.

if anyone has any coachella posters, can you post them? id like to take a look at what you all have.![]()
Because I simply collect posters and art - the city or designer of origin doesn't need to figure into it.
Hey I wasn't at Saul Bass' studio when he created the Vertigo movie poster - but I have one of those too.
If I don't like the poster it doesn't matter if I was there or not. There has been many shows I been to with ugly posters I did not buy because it wouldn't be welcomed on my wall. If you look at them as art pieces and not some exclusive ticket stub, then you'd prolly see what I mean.

Oh before I forget - I (along with 3 other people) am having an art show of my posters (ones I own) - they will be for sale at a local gallery here in town. If any of you lads or ladies want anything, I can put it back for you. Not everything I have is going into the show mind you - the gallery owner is picking out stuff (about 30-50 posters).

what is up for grabs? most of your first page post?
I have this shirt except the alien on the left (if you are looking at the pic) is saying..."beckon the paining exists??" and the one on the right says back, "no, Beck and The Flaming Lips!" I got it when I saw that tour at the vegas show. Got right up to the stage, told beck his fly was down too...I just felt bad here he was doing the robot for us but his fly was down so it made it seem sad. That was when the flaming lips were opening and then performing as becks backing band. It was for the sea change album. Probably my favorite time seeing beck of the 7 times.
