Wow thats crazy. At least theyre pretty affordable. 5 posters for $100 isnt bad at all. I hate that framing costs so much though =/

The average is about $20 at most designer's sites.

Yeah, I only have 7 framed. The Libertines, !!!, Wilco, White Stripes, Arcade Fire (bee), Unicorns. Franz Ferdinand.

I do when I get a coupon and some $. I only deal with one person at the framers also.

Not all of mine are framed and I need to determine a proper method of storage for those that aren't. I have a 3bd house and I live alone so room is not an issue for me currently.

I got into buying them for a while... I have a decent collection now that I will gradually frame over the coming years. so far I've only framed two. (and ****ing expensive it is!)

I have a bunch of screen prints, lots of fillmores, and a bunch that are paper posters I've pulled off the walls of venues the night of the show. sometimes those are the ones I like the most.

this is probably the next one I will get framed. though I have been meaning to frame one of the daft punk LA sports arena ones too...

lol yeah. I always anticipate someone confronting me when I pull one off the walls. it's never happened. once a security guard joked with me cheekily when she spotted it, but other than that I've never had trouble.

I should put those up again. I doubt I will frame the stolen ones. probably just the nicer screen prints.

At the shows usually. Some I have bought from the artists website afterwards (like the Madness one). I thought I'd do that (buy later) for the Vampire Weekend print from their recent show here in PDX but it sold out at the show!

I have the one from Cleveland - which I bought on tour - but I picked that up later online for $40. The Radiohead ones never amount to much (value wise) but most are purty.

If you think buying them is pricy, don't ask for a price to frame them (properly at least). Thankfully, I get big discounts now from my framer.

i get all my frames from americanframe.com

i don't usually worry about matting, just go to a local framer and pick up some spacers so the print isn't touching the glass/plexi. not everything needs museum quality framing...i save that for my mark ryden prints.

man, i have so many that are just sitting in tubes in my closet. ive only framed a couple. kind of waiting till i get a house one day and can have my own music room to throw some up in. if im bored one day ill go find them all online and post them, but right now that seems like too much work. im kind of pissed i didnt get one of those arcade fire ones from the so cal shows i went to. anybody got an extra to sell? i was going to buy one once on ebay, even though it was kind of pricey, then realized it was delta and said no thanks.

i don't have pics of my stuff on the comp, but i have the blood, sweat, and tears set, paid $900 each, a complete set could maybe fetch between $7,000-$10,000...the creatrix, bought for $200, sells for around $1500 on ebay...the debutante(shit, just saw on expressobeans that one sold in march for $5,800!)...and jajo, patron saint of clowns. all were bought through ryden's site, so paid face for 'em. these days it's a complete clusterf**k to try and buy his stuff online, especially the editions limited to 60 or so.

you can look on expressobeans to see what they look like. most of my prints are locked away, safe and secure. only have the blood, sweat, and tears out for display. nearly pissed my pants when i got all 3 during the onsale.

this poster is my pride and joy (and i was there!). it may not look like much but up close it is beautiful. notice the three buttons on her lapel? each button is a drawing of one of the Sleater-Kinney girls.

Yeah, that's a tall order sometimes. Especially when I go for the non-reflective glass.



This is an Emek for a show that never actually happened. My framed copy is signed in pencil by Emek in the lower right corner, and has a hand-drawn eyeball in a puddle of goo on the lower left side.

I managed to get every Coachella poster at the '07 event for $20 which I thought was an absolute steal.

Apart from that, I mainly have ones of nice designs for shows I've been to. I've got a cool Ting Tings/Cassette Kids MySpace Secret Show poster to my right, a neat Whitley poster an an awesome Kimya Dawson tour poster that I need to frame.
