i wonder if the number of the edition you get has to do with the order in which you purchase

I highly doubt it'll be 15k. I think it'll be like 5k maybe.
Well 12,000 people went for The Avengers by Stout. This is Batman paired with Olly Moss who besides Stout is one of the biggest modern poster artists around...I think it'll be 10,000+
Yeah but The Avengers was actually a good poster. This one is quite underwhelming.
This one is getting a lot of positive feedback though. Just as many people hate Stout's work as the ones who love him, the same with Olly Moss. i also don't really love this batman poster, but your own personal opinion doesn't have much say in how well this will do.

But literally any casual mondo-goer can grab it for a whole day. It's on every website I've seen. I don't think it's for sure going to be that much but it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest. Mondo has 30,000+ twitter followers alone.
Either way, sure as shit ain't going to get this thing in 6 weeks.
12,000 people went for the Avengers (which is awful, for the life of me I will never understand the preoccupation with Stout. except maybe the Akira)... 11,800 of which went for it to sell on ebay... this won't sell for $$$.
I bet it is under 5K.
I think the poster is nice enough... but everything else Moss dropped at SDCC was better. Pretty sure Mononoke is one of the coolest things he's done to date.

People on EB are comparing order #s and its sold 2000 in the first 30 minutes. We shall see. Either way, I'm excited for it. Going to go great next to my American Werewolf Olly.
Picked one up for a chance at the golden ticket. So far I'm considering Buffy/Angel or Ali G InDaHouse. Need to brainstorm a bit more before I choose one though.

Who was the artist that designed this poster that was for sale at the boutique?
http://drops.ericboyer.me/IGAP
It was Kii Arens. Many of posters were event only and seem pretty restricted on what they could do with them. You'll have to bug them through email to shake an AP loose. I bet they are sitting in some boxes at a GV warehouse to be put up on the online store (which is never updated) or sold at a discount in future years.
This is the list of artists who were in the "Boutique" this year. Yes, I wish it said who did what but its something:

A good amount of his stuff couldn't be screen printed (easily/effectively) since he uses photographs and things but when there is something like his Pulp poster its a real disappointment to see they are all lithographs. Lovely stuff, but hell even I could do the separations for him to get it done right.
In the search for the pinwheel poster info, I did finally come across the web image of this giant amazing piece they had this year. Was 6 feet in person I'd say. Artist is Jon Burgerman. 1440x900 if you want to zoom in or set it as your (now really annoying) desktop picture. I love it.

I've seen a couple people in this thread did end up picking up the pinwheel print. Would anyone mind posting an image of it?
here are the two posters commissioned for lolla:
I am really puzzled as to why Sabbath's name isn't on either poster. I was thinking of buying the bear one but if Sabbath's name isn't on there then i think i'm going to have to pass.

Possibly they were made when Sabbath was canceling their gigs because of Iommi.
Or their management wanted huge money or has limited use of the name. Some legal bullshit I'm sure. Maybe check them out in person and see if they got on there after the web images were posted.
I just got a reply on twitter from one of the artists. Apparently sabbath wouldn't let them use their name on the poster.

surprised they even get a say, you are playing a festival, would seem to come with the territory.
Nice cutter. I just bought the sparkle glitter foil one. Should come next week.
