My friend turned me on to a blog that rates taco stands around LA. I went to two of the 4 taco rated places in Hollywood tonight and they were sublime.

Cocos on Hollywood blvd was the best but they closed it and opened one of those stupid celebrity owned clubs.

I liked Cactus tacos, but El Matador, which is a taco van that parks just north of Santa Monica on Western, is amazing. They have great Carne Asada.

The last two Coachellas I attended, I stopped in Pomona on the way down to Palm Springs to get a beans, meat, rice, and cheese burrito from Juanita's. This year, I'll have to try one of the taco places on that blog.
