I'm a decent Weezer fan, I don't really know how popular they are around the Coachella crowd but I know they are touring right now, but I'm not sure where they will be around April

I would like it if they played actually because the only way I'm going to see them is if they play at a festival. Coachella could be it.
I cannot emphasize how hard of a "hell fuck no!"

I would like to see them live one day.... I love the blue album, but they are playing in Van the same day Gogol is...so I shant be there.
Upcoming Shows:
Pitchfork Festival: 7/19 @ Union Park
Mountain Oasis Festival: 10/25-27
I love Weezer but I've seen them live and you're probably better off going to Gogol.
I saw them at Coachella 05'. What a disapointment. I kinda knew it would be a let down though. Rivers can work a club but not a large crowd. The band with it's original lineup was awesome and I think I saw them come to chicago like 5 times on the blue album tour. The couple of shows I have seen since way back then have really not been so great. I saw them open for the Foo Fighters later in the Make Believe tour....that band does not deserve now should they ever accept a gig in an arena. However, I remember seeing them when they were good and I knew from the presentatoin at this 1000 person club that Rivers wanted to be stadium rock in the worst way. Anyway, i'm one of the many who beleive post Pinkerton Weezer is not so great, some is good and some is meh. Sharp was the edge to that band. It's also why the rentals are pretty good. In fact, I would rather The Rentals play Coachella 2009 than Weezer.
If Weezer was at Coachella I would probably be in the Sahara or Beer Gardens. They're not my cup of tea.
ive seen them 3 times. none of them by going out of my way. and they are fine. no one here is really stoked on them. id probably watch but i would be very ok with never seeing them again
I'd rather have Coldplay.
No, they blew in 05' as well.
As long as they dont headline or subheadline and conflict with another act that i want to see so that Weezer would attract people and make the act i want to watch less crowded.
no, i'm sure a second performance by weezer at coachella would kill me. 2005 almost bored me to death and i know another set would do me in for sure. seriously, i've never heard a band more bored with themselves. island in the sun sounded like god awful whining, yes, even more so than the original.
Weezer... I remember that band. Didn't they die in that terrible bus crash during their second album tour?
No. It would be an awful day to hear "we are all drugs" tainting the empire polo grounds AGAIN, with the probability that "everybody get dangerous" will be in the same set list.
I don't mind weezers music but man...that latest single is sooooo BAD
I'd be pretty disappointed if they were headlining.
Weezer broke up after Pinkerton.....and NEVER got back together.
pretty funny.
but not true
weezer 05 sucked. what was rivers trying to pull? Now the thing is, the new album is as close to pinkerton as they have made yet. Rivers, if you could just play it like the rock star you are, you could KILL!
Back in the day, I would have KILLED to see a Blue/Pinkerton tour. Nowadays Rivers seems to have lost his talent. Almost seems washed up. I'm way bitter about them fucking up a potentially great band, and would not see them if someone paid me to. Shit's sad man.
