Although, I do admit to a stirring in my loins seeing her legs all up in that glorious position that they were.

Although I still liked this episode for it's character development, the pace of the season noticeably came to a crawl with it until that last scene. I loved that LaGuerta brought up the Jordan Chase & the barrel girls case and that it lead Deb to understand what went down with Dex and Lumen. LaGuerta's snooping is making the whole show much more vital which is exciting.

I predict that Hanna will try to kill Dexter, Deb will kill Hanna to protect him, and that will lead LaGuerta to believe Deb is the Ice Truck Killer.

She seemed to have some nice chest meat.

Come on Showtime, I'm paying you to pay her to show it all! :-P

Couldn't help myself but to pop in here. But I semi-shelter my eyes from this thread until I can watch it on PVR tonight. But I reckon from the few things I skimmed over that some hotness went on with Dex and Hannah as I predicted. Yes!

lol, why was there ocean on BOTH sides of the vehicle when Dexter and Hannah are in his car? They're not on some slim little island or peninsula, that was shot on Ocean Blvd. in south Long Beach.

I used to drive by them filming all the time when my GF used to live in Long Beach off of 7th st. I remember watching them film at the donut store like 3 years ago. Um, anyways, so Deb is letting Dex off his leesh now? To kill the girl that he likes, because she killed the dude that Deb liked? This shit is getting weird.

Interesting observation I made while watching this last episode:

(I may be wrong but) EVERY TIME there is a scene shot in Dexter's office, his lights are ALWAYS off. It is always dark in his office, no matter what he is doing or who is in there talking with him. Every single office in that precinct has the lights on, as any office should, but his are always off.
This seems that is has to be an intentional...thing by the producers.
I know I know, nothing crazy revealing about the story or where the story is going, but it just caught me as weird and interesting.

Am I wrong though? I don't feel like putting in old episodes and looking to see if his office lights are ever on.

Last season provided the lulz, though. Like when Travis gets all pissed, paints the mural for like 30 seconds and voila it looks exactly like Dexter. I laughed so hard at that.

Or, in the same episode, when Angel is tied up on the bed with the room on fire and Quinn comes bursting in and throws one single blanket on the fire and it immediately goes out.

I do have to add though, Dexter and Isaacs' conversation in the bar was one of my favorite moments in this season so far. Two monsters have a civilized conversation. About what they do.

Totally. The only reason why I can think they may be going there is to provide some "cover" for why Deb is protecting him. But, I feel it's unnecessary as the brother-sister connection is justification enough.

And, I also enjoyed the scene between Dexter and Sirkov. It was about time that guy "came out"...him and Viktor being lovers would have been very obvious had this been real life. I really liked the ending montage of last night's show as well...artsy and poignant.

I liked how Dexter followed Hannah's advice during his chat with Sirkov at the bar. Find out why he wants to kill you - get into his head, and then you'll figure out how to handle it. It will be an interesting showdown in the end.

Good episode, but I reeeally think the writers should have saved Isaak's death until the season finale. He was a much more compelling part of this season than the rest of the Koshka scene, Hannah, LaGuerta's search for the BHB, and now this kills with fire dude.

Sooo like oh em gee, but is the arson investigator like totally the killer? Like Dexter, he's in the profession himself (blood spatter analyst/arson investigator) so he knows how to cover up his crimes.

And prior to 2 episodes, I totally thought that Laguerta was going to eventually think Deb was the BHB because of Deb doing mysterious coverups for Dexter. Now that theory is not looking so good. And now we know that the retired captain (forgot his name) is totally going to tell Laguerta that he knows about Dexter's toddler-hood.

I was disappointed to see how far they were taking it with her, and I am still disappointed to see where it has gone so far, and I am not looking forward nor do I care about how it concludes with her.

I think something big is going to happen with this arson guy. He just seems too tacked on and out of no where for only being three episodes left. He is going to kill off someone big, destroy someone's home/office, or Dexter is going to use him to kill someone important or cover something up.

I figured Deb might kill her but she cares about Dexter too much. I really liked Isaac and didn't want him to die so soon. I think Laguerta is going to end up blowing the whole thing wide open eventually. Quinn's in serious trouble with the mob folks now after beating the crap out of Nadia's boss. Pretty sure his days are numbered.

I do find it amusing though that this fire dude is basically doing the same thing Dexter does. Sets someone on fire and then shows up the next day to "investigate" the crime scene. He looks pretty fucking creepy too.
