good place for bands getting back together. Faith are pretty good. Or maybe Pumpkins? I guess I am alone in thinking this

Call me crazy but i'd rather Mr. Bungle
Blind Faith would be better, minus Rich Grech, as he died in 1990.
Blind Faith were an English blues-rock band that consisted of Eric Clapton (The Yardbirds, Cream), Ginger Baker (Graham Bond Organisation, Cream), Steve Winwood (Spencer Davis Group, Traffic) and Ric Grech (Family). The band, which was one of the first so-called supergroups, only released one album, Blind Faith, in August 1969. They were stylistically similar to the bands in which Winwood, Baker, and Clapton had most recently participated (Traffic and Cream).
Just in case you weren't aware...Mike Patton LOATHES FNM. He once called the group a bunch of cocksucks in it for the money. Hell will freeze over before he plays a single FNM tune again.
Or so I've heard ;-)
Sorry to dash your dreams
Ron Paul 2012!
Upcoming Shows:
Four Tet
Coachella 4/20-4/22
Death Cab for Cutie/Magik Magik Orchestra
Radiohead
some other bands
Guys chill. To be honest I'd rather have Fear Factory but I guess they're too heavy for Coachella or maybe SOAD?
If it's good enough for Rage it's good enough for them. Not too sure on the ins and outs of FNM, but I know Patton is quite arrogant maybe he thinks he's too good for Coachella? But I'm really getting into them, missed em the first time round.
09 with Crudo?
I want to hear their David Bowie cover.
6/13-16 NXNE
I'll take Crudo but would love Faith No More as I suggested it in this thread http://www.coachella.com/forum/showthread.php?t=22020
What Bowie song do they do?
Fear Factory? hahaha
wtf? are you serious?
You'd rather have Fear Factory than Faith No More? Wow. Just... I don't even know what to say... and.. System of a Down isn't really a band anymore... although Scars on Broadway and Serj both separately played Coachella this year. (And all sucked pretty badly, from the little I heard.)
*paging Josh aka Rage Patton to the thread. Paging...*
why am I listing bands that have all split up? Pearl Jam anyone? christ
sorry guys I'm talking shit
anyways, anyone know any good links to Palm Springs radio that I can stream, I need to feel like I am on holiday again
I think the more obvious problem is that you're listing bands that would just be totally out of place at Coachella. Specifically Fear Factory.
Coachella is not Ozzfest.
I think FF are fucking rude boys m8. But each to their own. Rather have them than Muse -went V Festival this year and Muse are so tired as are stereophonics. If any of you yanks get to go to England go Reading Fest. It's very 'indie'. Proper bands that are big names, not has beens. Plus there is loads of beer throwing and jumping around, I know you Americans love that ish.
nah but when I was to V it's the same old bands ie Prodigy, Muse, fucking shed seven were there, haven't heard from them since I was about 12.
Reading always has the best lineup IMO. Muse are bit meh -they do so many festivals over here. They must do every festival every year it's FFS m8.
you know what I mean
as a complete separate subject I'm listening to KNEW FM and I dunno how you yanks don't go mad, are there any decent American radio stations I can stream from please? m8
also at V you have girls aloud! who won British X Factor! a pop girl group
and glastonbury Jay Z was headlining and rapping over other people's songs! FFS
as I say, Reading is more indie orientated, so very good fun.
seriously. wtf is this guy's deal? Has Beens? Dude, Fear Factory is like, pretty much the best example I even come up with for a Has Been band. I think I saw them when I was in High School, and even then, they were kinda has beens.
IDK WTF British X Factor is, but if a pop girl group won it, then it is made of fucking fail.
And Reading has the best headliners? WTF are you talking about? RATM, Metallica, The Killers, Bloc Party, QOTSA, fucking.. Slipknot? Seriously? Get the fuck out of here.
I honestly think you belong at Ozzfest, dude. The bands that you're talking about have no place at Coachella.
FNM?
Fuck yes
Fear Factory?
Fuck yes
The thought of Slipknot at Coachella made me shudder just now. If nothing else their fans would be a... unique... addition to the general vibe.
Thats some cult shit.
Good thing it'll never happen.
There is no way that I will allow Slipknot to perform in Prince's house.
"How is my Co-a-chella... excuse me...Slip-who?!?! Paul, don't make Prince come back and guitar-cock slap the hell out of you!"
