    Default Anyone ever stayed in la quinta?

    I'm looking to reserve a hotel room early for 2009 and from my recollection of driving to the festival this year, La Quinta seemed to be just about the closest town with nice accomodations. So I'm looking for some recommendations on good places to stay in that area that people have had luck with reserving early in the past. I'm hoping to spend no more than around $225 a night. Thanks guys.

    how much do you want to spend?

    i reccomend the embassy suites...

    but don't plan on saving money or getting any deals that weekend...

    I almost spent a night in la pinta.
    Whiskey Sour

    2 oz blended whiskey
    Juice of 1/2 lemon
    1/2 tsp powdered sugar
    1 cherry
    1/2 slice lemon

    Shake blended whiskey, juice of lemon, and powdered sugar with ice and strain into a whiskey sour glass. Decorate with the half-slice of lemon, top with the cherry, and serve.

    Yeah, you're not gonnna find anything in LQ for anything less than about $300. There is LQ resort, Embassy Sutes and Homewood Suites.
