You're like a comedy sketch, GB.
Bryan, I stopped talking about it because I started to feel like I was bending the world's ear. You must not have been listening properly.
If you hadn't reamed the world's girlfriend at that Halloween party a few years back you'd get to know all sorts of things said to it and all sorts of shots heard 'round it. It's not my fault you can't control yourself when a neighboring planet's topography is terraformed in a pleasing way.
This might be the liquor talking but I like the way your tectonic plates shift when you bat your massive planetary eyelashes.
That is one unfortunate hell of a volcano zit, though.
EVERY time I hear the opening of this:
I think it's this:
not sure where else to drop this... so by default.

http://www.facebook.com/pages/PayItF...618198?sk=wallMr Dibbs, the legendary and innovative DJ/producer, has given so much of himself to art & hiphop for over 20 years. Dibbs has recently been diagnosed with Cirrhosis which is the final phase of chronic liver disease. Thanks to America's healthcare system (or lack thereof), the cost of his treatment has reached astronomical levels in just one month's time. Dibbs is no longer able to work due to his ...debilitating condition, so we're kindly requesting that people step up and help ease the financial pains while he deals with the physical ones. Any amount would help. To donate money you can go to www.paypal.com, click "send money" to the address: Hellkitchen@netzero.com As you'll notice, that email address belongs to Kristin Rose. - PEARL JAM WHY YOU HATE COACHELLA? -
As much as I want to hate them for the blatant MGMT rip-off that is their song "Houdini", Foster the People's "Helena Beat" is absolutely the most infectious pop song since MGMT's "Kids."

Last night I was at a bar celebrating the finalization of a case, and I told my co-workers that I was going to be a Ramone for halloween. One of the investigators told me that she knew Dee Dee Ramone pretty well because he used to hang out with her and her boyfriend Richard Hell back in the day.
Barn Owl doing their best Sunn O))) impression. This is a good thing.

Yeah, but regardless that's an actual Beirut track. I've only listened to that EP a handful of times.

Apparently Parts & Labor are going on hiatus as of early next year.
They have started on a run of shows, each focusing on one album. A CMJ gig was their Receivers show, Friday the 18th of November is their Mapmakers show and Friday the 16th of December is their Stay Afraid one. I was considering going to one of these but with this news I am pretty sure I will have to go to both.
The 10th anniversary is on February 24th, with Oneida and Talk Normal.
I completely ignored this band because I don't have time to keep up with every mediocre indie buzz band out there, but every time I'm somewhere in public that's playing top 40 radio and "Pumped Up Kicks" comes on, it's a breath of fresh air. Not sure how that ended up getting so much radio play. Maybe not an out and out great song but a surprising amount of fun for something getting that level of exposure.
What kind of person would actually date Richard Hell? I fucking love Blank Generation and all but it's one of the greatest statements of self absorbed prickdom of all time.
Ellen is entirely too nice and matronly, so she probably worked well with the egocentrism that is Richard Hell. Although, to be fair, she's married to someone else and has been for a long time.
But she did tell me the story of how her, Terry Ork, Richard Hell and Tom Verlaine used to kick it in CBGBs and just pester Hilly until they go Tom and Richard a show.
Ridiculous, I know, but cute/funny nonetheless:
