I was always more of a Cash Money fan, but No Limit had some great songs.
this is probably my favorite No Limit song:
and of course these are essentials:
I like the stuff with some more Bounce influence, too:
Spicy pie is mainstream shit.
I miss my homies.
You're getting me all nostalgic. So, here's some random nonsense.
Back in my high school days, I was into all this crap. I LOVED No Limit and Cash Money, and later on Three 6 Mafia stuff.
I remember all the album releases would have coming soon ads for other No Limit albums. A lot of them would never even be released. And most I would later find out that the artwork and title had been created WAY before any music had actually been recorded. Being pre-social media, I guess this was smart.
They would also rehash old music a LOT. Sometimes remixing the track without acknowledging it was a remix, and sometimes actually putting old songs on newer releases.
Ugh, remember how all those big rap labels from the south all used Pen n Pixel Graphics to create their cover art? It wasn't til the early/mid 00's they toned down the over the top images.
Oh, and I own this album and it is pretty damn good. She should have a bigger priority of P's.
Mystikal was always flawless. Always outdid his label mates when he'd do a featured verse.
