Well? You better have seen both, on the CURRENT tour. I'm not voting yet, since i've only seen NIN this go-round, but Radiohead has a LOT to live up to. 2 more weeks! Woooo!
Radiohead!
Nine Inch Nails!
I haven't seen one or both, so can't judge yet.

i've been thinking about this too, such a hard call... i think in the end neither is better than the other because they are so different and equally awesome.
.
I'll tell you after I see NIN...
i am going with bowie or Yes ....x****

While they're both brilliant I have to go with NIN.
Radiohead had really cool original lighting. NIN on the other hand, many times during their set I literally stood there drop-jaw at what I was viewing. It was "holy shit" impressive. The way NIN changes their light setup so many times was excellent as well.
i forgot, As far as pure imagery and not necessarily lights, I think it must be Pink Floyd though ….i dont count this as a hijack btw .x****

NIN but only by a little bit. That shit is so crazy!.
all industrial bands have incredible light show...
Ministry, Nine Inch Nails, K.M.F.D.M. you name it...
but Nine Inch Nail's music is actually good.

Radiohead's lights were fucking amazing, and I haven't seen NIN yet because they aren't coming here, and I can't afford to travel to see them this time. Both bands haven't visted AZ yet this tour so fuck em both, goddamnit.
are you fucking kidding me??
I have had this discussion so many times since Lolla. NIN has a more intricate show Radiohead's is more innovative but as far as I am concerned they're equal in awesomeness. I will say this though I had may more fun at NIN drunk than I had at Radiohead tripping, then again Radiohead blew my mind but I grew up with NIN so it was prolly just nostalgia and other things.
This thread fails for not having Tool as an option.
Innovative lightshow = Pink Floyd.
Their light shows in the 70's were so ahead of its time it's almost unreal.
Does anyone agree?
really?
coldplay has a good light show?
oh yes. they have a very good one. it really did surprise me.
Coldplay had essentially no light show at pemberton, while NIN pulled out their whole thing. Now I wish i could see it...
Will be seeing Radiohead on Tuesday, then I can vote in my own poll!
Coldplay didn't really have a visionary light show like Radiohead and NIN do... it was more like they had performance flair... lasers, orbs, butterfly confetti... and it was fun, but it doesn't really touch the greatness being compared here.
