Anybody here listen to music while cycling?
    What's your favourite?

I've been listening to a lot of Beck, Elliott Smith, Spoon and Built to Spill lately.
    Bicycle, you're keeping me sane.

Got the frame on Monday, have been building it up over the last week.
Today I'm headed down to the coop in search of a crankset, then I'm good to go!

Some of my friends will go for urban rides around here and that's all they do is bounce from one bench or platform to another. It's pretty fun to ride along, but my friends are in their 30's and I'm just waiting for them to REALLY hurt themselves.

Did you see that one guy down in the Tour de France? A helmet saved his life.

did not see it, but we were watching the last leg of the race yesterday. unbelievable that these guys ride that hard. up hill. non-stop. with 25mph head wind most of the time. unreal.

The best part of the tour are the crashes. I love the ones where they just ride off the side of the road. Hilarious!

Wonder how long a set of rims last him. I love the jumps where the people watching run over to the ledge or the top of the stairs to see if he's still alive, and he's already riding away.

He landed flat on his face. His helmet didn't do shit. He was screwed the moment his tire gave out.

One of the many things I miss about home are my bike rides. While I was nothing more than a casual street rider, it provided a means of keeping fit while on fatigue cycles of track training and stress relief.

    Now I'm sad.

Don't be sad, get a fucking bike. There's NOwhere in the world where you can't use a bike.
