Nice pictures. That looks like a great ride, next time I am in SF I'd love to do something like that, if it is sunny out.

Nice edward! been meaning to do that ride myself...
That looks so beautiful.![]()
Nice pics! It is a fun ride, isn't it? And what a gorgeous day for riding.
We made a day of it once on rented tandems - litro and I on one, the kids on another, ice cream in Sausalito, Tiburon for lunch, ferry back to SF. Good times.
We're hoping to go up there after the new year. Would love to do that ride, but Izzy is too slow on her bike by herself. Maybe we can borrow or rent an Add-a-bike. Although January/February is probably pretty cold.
took off daughter's training wheels yesterday and she was off after just a minute of figuring it out. the look on her face was great, she always has a serious straight look when focused on a task, but the smile that kept breaking through was amazing. she was so proud. and today was her first day riding her bike to school, good times ahead!
That's awesome, Steve.
I will, Edward. We can make a Coachella Cavalcade. Do you think we could get Salah and Heidi on a bike? Geno is up there. Who else would I need to organize?
Definitely worth the random moment to check it out.

Also, I have little use for this bicycle wine carrier, but I still want it:

My favorite local shop sells some great luggage type stuff for bikes. Hand crafted and lifetime warranty. There's a lot of options for different colors too

Pretty Lights.![]()
thank you!
the white ones blink alternating. the red and blue ones occasionally fade out in.
I think I'm going to go out riding in dark places tonight.
I really want to decorate my bike like that for Coachella this year. Would be so cool (and safe) to ride a plurcycle home from the fest every night.
Oooh! Edward I like your bike decorations.
My bicycle's front and rear lights were stolen last night. Anyone have good tips on how to more effectively secure lights to the frame to deter theft?
what kind of light? What does it look like?I google the topic and this came up http://www.instructables.com/id/Monk...i-Theft-Strap/
I have slide off lights too so I don't leave them on my bike, unless it's a reasonably safe neighborhood.
sometimes I get lazy and leave them on, but I've had several stolen that way. always take them with you.
Thank you for the suggestions.
GB, I think that's a wheel light? I'm more interested in lights that illuminate the road before me, and also a rear light for cars behind me.
In terms of using a slide-off: I'm pretty lazy and often forgetful, so I feel like ideally, I probably shouldn't rely on myself for remembering to take parts on and off every single time I run into a store to run a quick errand. It would be much, much better to just strap those lights on tight so that they are difficult to steal. But maybe that's not an option? I feel like there MUST be anti-theft types of lights out there somewhere.
Cars are Coffins.
Anywho, maybe you all can help. Any gift ideas for a bike enthusiast who it seems has almost everything?
I'm a reasonable man, get off my case....
