melting faces/face melt/any similarly worn out configuration from the thousands of uses of a two-chuckle phrase TOPS.

Pictures of really menacing pitch black erections, I guess, but really I guess I don't see those as it is so just being preventative.

why would anyone want to watch mccartney play a day in the life by himself? only a small portion of that song was his, the rest was lennon's. it's my absolute favourite beatles song (besdies their cover of blackbird), but i don't want to hear mccartney play it by himself.

I would. Lennon is dead. We'll NEVER hear it from him. I'll take second best.

Its like the Infinite Monkey Theorem, if you put X amount of monkeys in a room with a typewriter and ask them to give you Shakespeare 99% of them will fling their shit at you while the other 1% will masturbate in the corner.

Woman, I swear if you don't stop being right about the big questions like best TV shows, movies, and Beatles songs I'm gonna be forced to impregnate you for real eventually. The lulz will come off.

But yes, please, please, could we not all plead for McCartney--bubblegum, dimwitted pop genius that he is--to try to perform a song I don't believe they ever performed live even as The Beatles (not positive, but I know when Sgt. Pepper's had just come out they couldn't figure a way to play it because it used too many sampled instruments and orchestra and stuff).

It's not his song, it belonged to the one who did all the really ambitious, brilliant, deep songs (a few to Harrison as well) and he was lucky enough to get assassinated before he could turn into an old husk of a legend. Can't we do him the favor of respecting his death enough to at least shy away from foaming at the mouths for his less-talented creative partner to cover his masterpieces for a fucking music festival?

Dunno what this was about. You'll probably have explained by the time I post. What songs did The Beatles cover, actually? Anyone think they can name most off the top of their heads?

Beatles never did perform A Day in the Life. They only played live once after the release of Rubber Soul.

Live covers included, or just on album?
On album, they did, among others, A Taste of Honey, Twist and Shout, Mr. Moonlight, Please Mr. Postman, Roll Over Beethoven, Long Tall Sally, Boys, Chains, Anna, You Really Got a Hold on Me, Money (That's What I Want), Rock and Roll Music, Everybody's Trying to be My Baby and Words of Love.

I know there were others, I think I missed a few from Beatles for Sale and a few B-Sides from early singles.
