yes, in fact, i bit it really hard walking at the park the other day and it still hurts!!! but it seems i bite my tounge in pictures a lot, people always point that out. i'm trying to be more conscious of it though, this year, you'll see less ivysaur tongue, i swear!!!

thank you! i also have an un-flattering unconscious picture-taking pose where i close one eye, lol. my friend blake tries to take my picture and then he has to be like "RETAKE, ivy's got her drunk eye!"

It's a perfect 85 degrees today in the Coachella valley. Gonna make a drink and take the laptop out onto the back patio and do some work...

I don't know HOW the rest of the world deals with this thing called winter. Then again, most people I know don't know HOW I deal with it getting up to 120 degrees here!

I went to my first Coachella in 2004 and made a vow that I would move out here within a year...and I did. Cost of living is a motherf'er though. Truth be known, it's kinda dull around here except during the Festival...lotta old people, no decent nightclubs, the music scene (ironically enough) is horrific. WHOLE LOT 'new metal' bands...whateverthehell that is.

But, it is gorgeous here, no disputing that! And...it's only a few hours to drive to entertaining areas or the ocean. At least the Coachella Valley has a plethora of great places to eat! Doesn't make up for a total lack of entertainment/culture...but, at least it's something.
