Default Praise Be to the Coffee Gods!

I am addicted to coffee. I think I drink about three to five cups a day---probably the majority at home in a mug or in my travel cup, and the rest from a coffee place. It's like crack, but more sugary

All love for the caffinated beverage of the god goes here.

And I don't CARE if you hate Starbucks; it's around the corner from me, and it just happens to be where I buy a majority of my coffee from. I need my grande non-fat vanilla latte or else I cannot function. (Semi-related, venti iced passion tea lemonade is AMAZING.)

I seriously could not function without coffee.

I hate Starbucks because they stopped selling Chantico.

Tea, also good. Hot beverages = good.

I'm a fan of good ol' green tea, chai, and straight up black.

I wouldn't exactly call Grande Non-Fat Vanilla Latte coffee, KittKat...And the Venti Iced Passion Tea Lemonade? Wait, I forgot. You've barely finished teething. Try some real coffee for kicks sometime. Better yet, go over the edge with some Expresso! Now that shit's like crack!

Coffee is liek LEMME BASH YOUR HEAD IN WITH CAFFEINE while tea is much more tasty.

And clearly Kitt Kat is seriously enjoying a cup o' joe right now.

Oh and people say coffee stunts growth? Not true. I have been drinking it since 6th grade and look at me.

Oh no, I get those too. Depends how awake you need to be.

When I make coffee at home, it's just standard coffee in a can with some milk.

Now, CUBAN COFFEE. That shit is INTENSE.

Coffee with sugar and/or milk is for pussies. Or people that want to cool down their coffee real quick.

i miss coffee. i USED to be addicted to it, until all the caffeine started giving me seizures in my sleep. and i dont trust people to give me decaf when i ask, so now i avoid it altogether. my favorite thing to get was some sort of special christmas time only minty concoction.

I drink one mug of tea a day (currently white chai w/milk). I used to drink triple-strength coffee (enough grounds for a pot used for one cup), but it got to a point that that much caffeine was jacking with my health. I have issues with anxiety and insomnia...'Nuff said. I don't like weak coffee, so...tea. I do still love the smell of coffee, and I miss cafe americano.

I can't drink coffee, as it literally makes me ill. I could use it on a lot of days in the morning, though.

I used to love love love the coffee at Cafe Tropical in Silver Lake. Their cafe con leches fueled many late night sessions. But even in the USC area, there is no excuse for Starbucks. The Ragazzi Room on Hoover is a good alternative with cute exposed brick walls. Also Normandie Bakery is a short drive away on Jefferson, and has fabulous baguettes and pleasant outdoor seating in addition to coffee. And then there was that Coffee Factory place on Figueroa, but they sort of suck at pulling espresso.

Starbucks coffee all tastes burnt to me...

I used to drink way to much coffee (a common affliction up here in Seattle)...

I have a french press once or twice a week now...

I had nine cups of tea today. Decaf. It's cold in Connecticut.

Which is to say, I can understand how coffee might be a particularly appealing addiction in Seattle.

I have cut back a lot on my coffee intake, but when I cave I get two shots of espresso in a cup of coffee. Delicious and it kind of keeps me awake.

I'll assume your talking about the one on Hoover by Spudnuts. That particular location opens real early.

I drink a couple of cups of Yamamotoyama green tea each morning during the week (no lead required).

I started ordering those new salted caramel hot chocolates a few weeks ago. So good.
    Whiskey Sour

    2 oz blended whiskey
    Juice of 1/2 lemon
    1/2 tsp powdered sugar
    1 cherry
    1/2 slice lemon

Shake blended whiskey, juice of lemon, and powdered sugar with ice and strain into a whiskey sour glass. Decorate with the half-slice of lemon, top with the cherry, and serve.

I drink 6 or 7 cups a day usually. Costco coffee is pretty good, my coffee maker has a built in grinder so it tastes fresh (imo, of course). I miss Dunkin Donuts coffee from MA though.

Yeah, my boyfriend lives across the street from there. But, it's pretty far for me to bike there, then to class. I mean, the Starbucks is ON CAMPUS.

If we're talking about getting coffee in general, rather than grabbing a cup on the way to class/work...I do enjoy

    Lost Souls Cafe (Downtown...good food)
    Downbeat Cafe (Echo Park...good quiche)
    Groundwork Coffee Co. (Hollywood...free wireless)

I used to drink about 5 to 6 cups a day. Then the stomach problems kicked in and my doctor told me to cut down or quit all together. I now drink 1 cup in the morning and that's it. But let me tell you...that's one strong ass cup of coffee.

I've never had a cup of coffee, and I don't particularly want to. I've had frappucinos though.
