When I was like 10, my brother introduced me to the 3x3. He told me you could get as many patties as you wanted on your burger.
So every time we had In n out ( 4 times a year), I would add one more patty. I worked all the way up to 8 x 8. Tried a 9x9 twice before giving up. Couldn't finish it.

The 8x8 took three bites verticle to take a bite size chunk from top to bottom. I didn't eat fries or drink soda when I ate it.

I like the grilled cheese at in n out, but I don't eat fast food much these days
    You wanna fook on me?!

The most I've seen go down a gullet was 8x8, which was followed promptly by vomiting. Dude was a champ, though, he walked out of the bathroom and immediately ordered himself a 6x6 to console him in his failure.

Sorry guys it's easily super fries (aka carne asada fries) from Albertos.

I ordered these and had them when I've been sober; drunk; stoned; stoned and drunk; and stoned, drunk, and sober. Best thing ever.

It's like an orgasm in your mouth with hot sauce.

It's not really fast food, but Shake Shack is pretty damn heavenly. The cheese fries are killer.

And I have tried to go to Shake Shack twice but both times it was massively crowded by throngs of French tourists and insane children running around the place. Both times I have retreated for calmer, less crowded dining options. The look of those cheese fries make me feel pretty good about that decision right now.

I am kind of happy that I have finally reached an age where food like that looks nasty instead of appetizing. Every once in awhile I get a craving for a burger but it is only one patty, with one slice of cheese and I throw extra veggies on it just to feel better about it.

No, we just don't digest piles of grease as well as we did back in our 20's. So the pile of tums I would have to eat to combat having eaten something that greasy and neaseating isn't worth the time or trouble.

Ok folk in LA may be aware of this one:
    The Oki Dog

    1 Burrito sized tortilla
    2 footlong hot dogs
    Chili
    Cheese
    A hefty amount of pastrami
All wrapped up and served with a sack of amazing greasy seasoned salt fries.

When I am wasted, this is my game. This place over Pink's anyday.

It's also great for clearing the colon.

    2. resembling or suggesting such poetry: an epic novel on the founding of the country.

This folk will agree. Oki dogs are good.
    Whiskey Sour

    2 oz blended whiskey
    Juice of 1/2 lemon
    1/2 tsp powdered sugar
    1 cherry
    1/2 slice lemon

Shake blended whiskey, juice of lemon, and powdered sugar with ice and strain into a whiskey sour glass. Decorate with the half-slice of lemon, top with the cherry, and serve.

It is the tastiest cheese sauce I have ever had on fries except for the one I've made at home. Appearances can be deceiving. And yeah, the last couple times I went it was far too crowded.

"Epic" was misused long before the internet.

anyone try the Hot Mess from Jackinthecrack? Almost did yesterday, but was afraid and opted for the Jumbo Jack instead (should have had the sourdough bacon thing). Generally don't eat a lot of fast food (once a month or so). Was hungover and driving.

^^^ I've read about that! Heard it has less calories than their bagel sandwiches. Have you tried it, yet?

Counter-intuitively it makes sense that it has less calories, because the average bagel has the same amount of carbs as like a loaf of bread for some reason.

The DD machine finally lands in Utah in a few weeks. We will be among the limited number of places where you can get DD for breakfast and In-N-Out for lunch, and not need an airplane. And then die of a heart attack in the afternoon.
