in n out, del taco and winerschnitzel i think are considered only to be located in sourthern cali. its fast food prices so you can get a combo meal under $5.

i do enjoy goody's cafe and they have locations in indio, palm desert, cathedral city and soon there will be one in palm springs. they have everything there....ah so good.

How do you eat an Indian Baby's shit in a tortilla? How'd you eat it the first time is my question?
I'm guessing that after the successful Phish concert and what appeared to be a larger vendor set up, Coachella will have more to offer than previous years. Seems to me that last year they all shut down or took breaks in the campground during the peak showtimes, and reopened prior to the show's end. I'd assume with Ins and Outs, they'll remain open this year.

Anyway, I'd recommened Tortilla Express on 111 by the WalMart/Marshalls. Excellent Mexican food and a lot of it for the price. There's also a Mimi's Cafe down the block by BevMo, and The International House of Pancakes acrossed the street by a Jack in the Box. I know further down 111 towards Washington St, there are quite afew new places dotting Hwy.111.

If you'd rather stay closer to the grounds, there's a Farmer's on Monroe St and 111, across from Denny's, as well as across from In and Out. Then there's the Castle which is constantly changing ownership acrossed the street from the fairgrounds. A Del Taco, Der Weinerschnitzel, and another clown in a box.

I'm guessing it depends on how big of a lie Pinochio's telling him at the time that determines that. *snicker*

How about Cactus Jack's? This is my first Coachella as well, lone traveler from NYC. I'm staying at Royal Plaza and apparently that place is on or near the premise.

What does this have to do with food? Besides the munchies.
