FOOD in our Around Coachella

So this is my 1st year going to Coachella for more then one night and I wanted some insight on local restaurants in the area that are open late other then JACK or Micky D's.

Anyhelp would be appreciated.

the smoked salmon is very good. they also offer a very nice brie and gouda plate, from what i understand.

Del Taco is open 24 hours, but when we went to the one in Palm Springs after Daft Punk, it took a half hour to get our food in the drive-thru.

IN N OUT is a must! If you ever eat breakfast inside the campgrounds then you have to try the breakfast burrito. I think it was like 5 bucks but it was huge, and amazingly good and I didn't get sick from it laterrrrr.

Last yr I paid $20 dollars for some chow mein, rice, and 2 chicken skewers and the woman didnt let me have a plastic fork!

Del Taco is on Hwy 111 and Washington. But, the line takes FOREVER during Coachella. My recommendation is to just plan ahead if you can, and have food back wherever you are staying. Saves A LOT of time.

There is a Jack in the Box close by that I usually hit up. On site I live off I <3 Spicy Pie. The Spicy Pie pizza is awesome! Big slices of Pepperoni with jalapeños and crushed red pepper. Damn, I'm really hungry.

Try making yourself out to be a homeless person the following morning (seeing as you should do it still sweaty and all from the previous day's festivities) and you'd be surprised at how many people would be willing to offer you some free tacos.

I'm from Texas and was excited to try Del Taco when I went to Cali for the first time a couple years ago during Coachella 08. It tasted like an indian baby shit in tortilla. How do you eat that?

In-N-Out on the other hand more than met my expectations.

I usually go to this place called Maxcy's Grill on highway 111 for breakfast every morning. Their chili cheese omelette kicks major butthole ! It's kinds out of the way which means shorter wait. It's in a shopping center next to a super wal mart and marshals.
