Also, other recent lessons from board discourse: face punchings can sometimes be an acceptable way for totally non-sociopathic adults to resolve their problems.

Someone gets punched in the face every week at every NFL game.

Philly has an on-site jail to handle their volume.

He killed the kid outside of a pizza place after a fist fight. I wonder if he was defending some honor.

Detroit only down 6 despite four turnovers.

EDIT* Calvin Johnson. Wow. He has more yards than the Cowboys do as a team.

    Santasutt-- HAHAHAHA

I was so sad when the Chiefs beat the Browns yesterday. They were neck and neck for a good while. I would've loved for a lesser team to destroy the Chiefs' undefeated season. (Sorry, Tuscon)

Were it not for a a novel rule change that the NFL decided to take out for a spin during a sudden death overtime moment in the Jets game, the Patriots would be seven and one.

So the answer to your question is "not yet."

But here's a valid question: how long can Brady keep playing with that broken throwing hand ?

Here's a better question: how long until people run out of excuses and admit that Brady just simply isn't performing well?

Golden Tate is the most insufferable little bitch in the entire league. Or at least it seems that way, after watching Seattle's last two Monday night games.

The most famous play of his career was a ball he didn't catch. Of course he's an insufferable bitch.

It wasn't so much that he didn't catch it, it was how he handled the aftermath. And last night it wasn't so much that he caught that long TD pass, it was how he handled it.

No. The entire point was he was credited with a touchdown (in the Packers game last year) that he did not score, by an incompetent replacement ref whose fuckup on that play immediately caused the NFL to settle with the official's union. That is the single most important and noteworthy play of Golden Tate's career: a failure that was deemed a success by an even bigger failure. Golden Tate will never be able to shake that stigma, and he knows it, and he acts out as a result.

I'm aware of all of this. Trust me. Personally, what bothered me the most was his arrogance afterwards and how he handled the media/interviews. Pete Carroll really bugged me then, too. I always loved him at USC, but I totally see why people don't like him now.

Apparently the Seahawks are making a trade for Jared Allen. They are probably going to have to give up another high draft pick and really how much better is he going to make a top defense in the league?

Someone at work was talking about Josh Gordon to the Patriots as if it was a done deal... then I get back to my computer, and realize they had to be smoking crack.

How much money did you lose because of that play? You're still as venomous as ever about that one!

I'm perfectly fine with Allen being dealt, his production is declining and he's in a contract year. Not quite sure why Seattle is pushing so hard for him, though.
