Same thing with the Colts right now. those were probably the two most picked teams in pools this week.

I expected a rough year for the Steelers, but I didn't think it was going to be this bad.

    Way to go Tampa Bay.

That goes down in the Annals of Boneheaded NFL Squanders.

A ton of people picked Tampa in my eliminator pool, so I'm happy. But what a way to lose.

I had Tampa Bay too until I changed it last minute to Indianapolis. Best decision I've made all week.

About 20% (myself included) got fucked with Pitt in our eliminator/suicide pool. Indy was my other pick, so I'm safe for now. So much for having a lifeline.

    Spoke too soon

EDIT: I'm liking how the cards are looking. Yeah, they're playing the Lambs but Palmer looks to be a great addition and overall I like Arians' play calling. 3rd down conversions are flowing.

    Aaaannnddd...Fitz just scored. Awesome.

Boldin for a 6th round pick, what a fucking steal that was for us. Only had one of his best games of his career.

The Giants' first three possessions have ended in turnovers. I guess that Kiffin/Marinelli philosophy is already paying off.

Yeah but the offense hasn't done anything about it though. Still only 3-3 at the end of one quarter.

Just want to reiterate this. Really glad Romo came back after getting speared in the ribs. I still don't understand how that wasn't a penalty.

What was illegal about that hit? Wasn't late, wasn't to the head, wasn't a lounge below the knees. Romo just got sandwiched and that is all.

Dallas Cowboys Halftime Show Features Execution Of Texas Prisoner

    Sports News in Brief • Sports • NFL Football • ISSUE 49•36 • Sep 8, 2013

ARLINGTON, TX—Marking the Cowboys’ season opener against the Giants in traditional fashion, Dallas fans were reportedly treated to a thrilling halftime show Sunday night that featured the execution of a Texas state prisoner. “That was the best halftime show I’ve seen in years—there was this awesome light show with Toby Keith’s ‘American Ride’ playing over the sound system while a priest administered the last rites,” said 46-year-old Cowboys fan Alan Kierstead, adding that he especially enjoyed when Cowboys cheerleaders formed the shape of a skull around the stage and performed an elaborate dance routine before the convicted felon was injected with a lethal dose of pentobarbital. “My favorite part was when he finally went limp and all those fireworks shot up from the top of the stadium. I just wish I were one of those lucky people on the field who got to watch it close-up.” Delighted fans also told reporters that the halftime execution was far better than any other such event at Texas Stadium, noting that the view of the inmate’s last breath was much better on the venue’s state-of-the-art 72-foot-tall LED jumbotron.

Cowboys D was great last night, the offense however was pitiful. Luckily the Giants didn't show up(and somehow made a game out of it. I know Romo is an easy target, but he really does what he can to make the Cowboys a winning team but when your receivers drop passes, and you have missed blocks, and bad route running there will be trouble.

Chiefs looked great, and I'm worried the Cowboys won't show up again. Chiefs are a playoff team this year is my guess. Steelers not so much, they'll be having a bad year.

Got two Press 10 Row 2 tix off ebay for $133, so headed down to SD for MNF. Need to remind ourselves not to get too polluted tailgating beforehand for risk of getting thrown in the stadium drunk tank cell (again). It's going to be a tough game for the Boltz, but you never know.

In fact all of the Redskins look awful. They may be worse than Jacksonville.

Chip Kelly's offense is fun to watch. I just wonder about how it will affect his own team. Lesean McCoy already has 20 carries at the half, and Vick will probably take some pretty nice hits. It will be interesting to watch it play out, though.

RG3's problem is that he's so worried about what people think of him. He was in such a hurry to come back from his injury and show people how much of a competitor he is that he could be fucking over himself and his team. Frankly, I'm sick of hearing him talk about how badly he wants to be out there. We get it, you're a warrior, now shut the fuck up and be smart. And I'm not even a Redskins fan.
