Adam Schefter is reporting he and GM Rod Graves both fired. I haven't seen it from any other source.

Azcentral.com is now also reporting it... but they just cite Schefter.

Cardinals Coach Ken Whisenhunt and General Manager Rod Graves were fired Monday morning, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.com

Oops, how could I forget Romeo. I think Reid ends up in KC if he wants a job next year. That 1st overall pick looks pretty attractive. The other interesting thing- How do the Jets fire their GM, but not Rex? I'm not saying that Rex deserves to go, but a new GM will probably wanna hire his own guy... Unless they promote the assistant GM?

Now I see it on nfl.com Out of all of them I feel bad for Wisenhunt the most, he is an excellent coach that dealt with major injuries and no QB. At least I'm happy he is out of the NFC west for now at least.

Bill Simmons floated the (totally unsubstantiated) idea of Norv becoming the Jets OC. That would be so glorious.

I'm going to miss he and AJ. It was nice knowing that I'd never have to see the Chargers win a Super Bowl. I won't be pleased if they land Gruden, Lovie, Cowher or even Reid, though it would be easier to swallow with a spoonful of THE BRONCOS ARE WINNING THE SUPER BOWL THIS YEAR AND PROBABLY NEXT.

Whisenhunt was an awful coach. Im glad hes gone. He would have been fired long ago if Kurt Warner hadnt carried him his last few years.

It seems like the Chargers are really gunning for Bruce Arians.

That makes more sense for Reid. A division that will probably have a quality Manning for maybe three more years, rather than a divison with Seahawks, and Niners.

Congratulations, Fourthisto, for consistently picking in the top percentile and for kicking all of our asses at the end.

Anything in the 70% ballpark is respectable in this type of pool.

A seven game lead after week 17 gives you bragging rights for one year.

If you are going weekend one I will make good on that cold beer. If you can track the rest of the league down, you might be drinking for free for the weekend.

Well it depends... with the Chiefs he gets a bonafide #1 overall pick, but it won't be a QB... which the Chiefs really need. Almost makes me wonder if he goes there if he'll try and bring Vick with him knowing he'll have to develop a qb.

If he goes to AZ, Kolb is there. That was his guy. And before he got hurt this season, Kolb wasn't bad.

The Chiefs have way more talent than the Cardinals. They just need a QB and they'll be competitive again. They had like 5 pro-bowlers this year, which is rare for the worst team in the league, to say the least. I bet they try and trade out of the #1 spot and take a QB in the first round.

I expect Geno Smith to be a lock for the #1 pick, lord knows that Walrus has a huge crush on mobile qb's with cannon arms.

It must be some kind of unwritten rule within the chiefs organization that the head coach have an imposing mustache. Reid would make it four in a row, by my count.

I disagree that one team has more talent than the other. Their downfalls hapoened for the same reason- no qb. Otherwise they were pretty even in most areas. I'd give Arizona the edge with their defense, but I'd give kc the better rb core whether arizona has beanie or not.

AFC West is an easier division (kind of), the opportunity of picking his entire staff including GM is huge, and the thought of having the first pick in every round along with several pro-bowlers are all very good reasons to choose KC over AZ. I also have this gut feeling that KC is going to break the fucking bank Seattle/Holmgren style for fat boy.
