I just picked up Matt Cassel in both of my leagues. I suggest any of the rest of you who want to get a massive advantage (or, if you had Brady, cut your losses) do the same.

As much as I hate the Pats and Bellicheat, Id rather seem them lose at full strength, like that glorious day in February. I hate that he even coached for the Giants and Brady still has Giselle so i dont feel that bad for him. If I was still living in that area, I would be amongst a sea of pats fans and their excuses all year.

The Bears need a lot of help on Offense, they are just terrible and Hester is not picking up the Offense. Bears win if they are able to win the turnover battle at +1 or +2, and gain 250+ yards.

Most importantly, they need a solid quarterback. I can bet anything that as soon as Vick gets out of jail and his suspension is lifted by Goodell, the Bears will be the first team calling.

As much as I hate to say it, you're right. They're loaded all over the field, on both sides of the ball.

The niners shot themselves in the foot turning the ball over so may times today. The defense looked solid even though they were put in some fucked up situations by the O. Other than the turnovers, the offense seems to have made progress. But this is all a week one analysis, we'll see.

I think AZ and SF are the two best teams in the NFC West.

also, that fake field goal the Bills pulled off against the Seachickens is my favorite play of the season so far.

No, Cassel sucks. I don't want him on my team. I think it would be really funny if the Patriots lured Drew Bledsoe out of retirement, though.

By the way, who saw T.O.'s touchdown celebration? An homage to Usain Bolt - pretty good stuff.

I will give Cassel two games, if he sucks ass I can almost guarantee the Patriots will sign Culpepper out of his early retirement. His best friend is of course Randy Moss.

Hell yeah, Bears!!! I totally didn't expect that. I've been a Bears fan since I was 9 and that was one of the more satisfying wins I can remember. Good call on the upset pick, Sasha and Chris.

Yeah pretty huge. I remember him playing high school ball down south in Lovington, New Mexico. Only New Mexico and New Mexico State offered him a scholarship. A lot of people around here follow the Bears because of him. For me, it just so happens that my team drafted him.

I wonder if we're starting to see a shift in the balance of power between AFC and NFC. Colts & Chargers both lose at home to NFC teams (neither Chicago or Carolina are picked to even make the playoffs by many pundits. Yes, that's right, I used the word pundit). I know it's early yet, I'm not claiming it's conclusive proof, I just said I was wondering.

I think you're on to something, especially with Tom Brady's injury. Remember though, some pundits picked Seattle to make the Super Bowl and they got creamed by Buffalo.

So do you think Seattle is still the favorite in the NFC West? Neither Arizona nor San Fran impressed me much today.

Seattle is still the statistical favorite, yes, for now. takes more than one fuckup game to take away 4 consecutive 1st place finishes. but i think they can be had.
