Leo, you're by all means a decent cat, but fuck your 49ers![]()
just figured out what you were talking about. and no kidding, what a dumb ass.
here is an article about it: http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/shu...?urn=nfl,95401
the photo caption is the best part.
Let's go on a livin' spree!
Favre is an idiot for the call, but he's a bigger dumbass for retiring in the 1st place. There was noise that he wasn't sure about quitting and shouldn't have in the first place. Granted, it is time to see if Rodgers can disprove the Tedford curse and become something useful, but that show could've waited one more season at least or the Pack should've jettisoned Farvie to give him one mo' shot somewhere else. Fuck his legacy, it is secured. He'll have that Jordanesque Wizards follie too, but he's got his legend. Just as long as it doesn't come out he juiced and porked an underage chick and he's straight.
Exactly, on the legacy stuff.
Over time, the last stop is forgotten.
Montana, Jordan, etc....
Anyone realize that Babe Ruth's last season was with the Boston Braves?
If he wants to play, simply let him play. Whether it is for the Pack or somewhere else.
I am sick of the drama that is made of this because of the 24 hour news world we are in....
Well, to be fair...
Montana had more success than any of the aforementioned legends. He lead the Chiefs to the playoffs on a number of occasions and if Favre had some of the same success, he'll be alright. There are exceptions to the rule (Montana and Drexler w/the Rockets) but (Karl Malone and Barkley) seem to be more of the norm. If I were a pro athlete I would've been more like Sandy Koufax or Robert Smith (No, not the Cure frontman but Minnesota's former RB) and retired on the top of the game. Especially if I have won a couple SBs or rings or whatever sport's championship.
ahahahahahaha.. this sentence in that article is hilarious: "In fairness to Favre, it should be mentioned that any phone calls he made to the Vikings were made in a gunslinging fashion, and through the entire conversation, he looked like a kid out there, just having fun."
I wish we could get Bolden resigned & all live happily ever after....
Boldin has been my favorite Cardinal since he joined the squad, fuckin Bidwell!!
raiders training camp started today, and nobody was missing. woo hoo! poor nnamdi, he is their best player, and their hardest worker, and all they do is fuck him over, yet he still reports to training camp and does his job, even though he didnt have to. hopefully that type of attitude will rub off on the rest of the guys.

the raiders are only a few blocks away from me now? ewww
true
Well he did sign a contract today, why not practice too? And Favre did fucking blow his chance to play in MN. At least now I know MN is willing to do whatever it takes to win. Still a dumb move though. I would bet that the Packers would let him start there before they let him start in MN. Cant wait for the hate filled Monday night opener regardless.
yea, but he didnt have to sign, is the point. he was trying to hold out until they would promise that they wouldnt franchise him again next year, but they wouldnt do that, and he signed anyway, just so he could get into camp and start practicing. fuckin al. hes starting to piss me off. he pays tommy kelly 10 times what he deserves, and then fucks over his best player. way to go old man.
Let's go on a livin' spree!
Tom..you get your season tix in the mail today?
I am hoping Matt is raring to go! But I am afraid that Kurt is the best choice to lead us this year.

John Lynch just retired, another defensive position to fill.
Meh. It was Lynchs time. He was awesome but he would have gotten hurt this year, shannahan new it too, thats why he got such limited play time at camp.
Dude could bring the wood when it came to hitting in the open field. He got his ring in Tampa and was as vicious a player as there has ever been to play the safety position.
My boy Q is getting an MRI tomorrow, no wonder he was throwing a hissy fit over his contract, he may never be the same again....*sigh*
