Santasutt I agree like most people that it was a bad call and should have been a penalty, but please don't act like it was the worst call in the history of the NFL because it wasn't. Hell it's arguably not even the most controversial call of the weekend to be honest.

Also please stop referring to it in general as a miraculous comeback. Brady has only made a career of winning games in the final 2 minutes. It really isn't miraculous as much as it is expected now. Also against a very good Carolina D with limited space not even a guarantee the Patriots score.

Mike Pereira? That guy is one of the biggest "yes men" in the NFL.

Unit, I was at the game. Cam Newton played his ass off. He ran like a tailback and made clutch passes all night. Three TDs. Pats D had no answer.

The Patriots didn't make enough plays to win the game. They fucked themselves a number of times: The Ridley fumble inside the 10, The stupid personal fouls on Talib and Mankins, the questionable third and one call in the fourth when the should have smashmouthed it through like they were doing most of the night. Instead they settle for the FG and give the Panthers a ton of clock.

Nevertheless, the game cannot end on a penalty, right? Pats got screwed.

The NFL should just admit that this crew fucked up the call. That's it.

No, it was someone different in the booth. I actually have a lot of respect for Pereira.

Yeah, but he said they won't make it past the WC round... so the team bus will be hijacked and taken to Belize, or something. Bye or no bye.

    Still not buying it.

If it wasn't pass interference, it was definitely defensive holding or illegal use of hands.

But I have a hard time feeling sorry about the Pats getting jobbed on a play for once, it's about time the pendulum swung the other way.

Well, Tom, your Cardinals came through for me and it only took 11 weeks. Color me impressed. Wish I would have bet more.

The kid from Cincy ekes out a tie break win in Week 11. The rich get richer.

Anyone in that "elite" top 4 could make a run in the last half-dozen weeks, though if Menik keeps picking the Fins, he's finished.

Fitzgerald is now the youngest player in NFL history to reach 11,000 yards. This game is crushing blows, btw.

I watched the Packer Viking game at a bar earlier, I've never heard a place so quiet when packed at the end of a game
