I thought they did better than I thought they would, (RAIDERS) but we fucking kicked their asses. Almost like a play game ... It's early but Super Bowl all the way but you know what happened last time. That's why it's called a game ... cr****

The good news is that when the terrorists blow up the Super Bowl this year, it will be the Broncos and Seahawks that get slaughtered.

Yea I'm not sure if everyone loves a winner or hates them If things go as planned, the latter will hate the Broncos. We screwed up last time and things happen, but watch out NFL. Records will be broken ..The hardest record will be the Miami undefeated season but we will see eh .... cr****

Ron, it is nice to see you are as thoughtful and well-spoken about the NFL as you are about everything else.

I may have said this before in here.. I see the Lions with Schwartz very much like I saw the 49ers when they had Singletary as their coach. Good talent on both sides of the ball, but unable to win because of their head coach. the 49ers finally wised up and listened to me and fired Singletary and hired a decent coach and they've done OK since. The Lions need to do the same thing.

Schwartz is 10x the coach that Singletary is/was. Singletary brought plenty of intensity and discipline to his team but he was a terrible coach. Schwartz is certainly a hot-head and his team has lacked discipline to put it mildly, but when it comes to the XOs he's miles ahead of the trou dropper.

Harbaugh is a dick, but yes, a good coach.

I'm really hoping some/all of the 4 injured players come back for tonight's game. :/

bobert, I agree with your facts but not your conclusion. Singletary's weakness was using his players effectively; Schwartz's is keeping his players focused and disciplined. The results are the same: talented teams struggling to get to .500.

I'd say Schwartz lacks maturity and acts like a petulant child while Singletary was borderline mentally unstable.

Singletary was terrible as a caoch. Not that he can't be a good head coach some day but he just isn't ready for that role yet. Honestly though until Harbaugh all of the coaches have been terrible since Mooch. They had the chance to bring in Jim Mora Jr. at that time (who I and most of the fan base wanted) and went with Dennis Erickson. Then from him it went to Mike Nolan who was just as bad as Singletary.
