$52 mil guaranteed. Wow, that is a lot.
Btw, anybody who is more interested in the NFL than the average fan should keep an eye on nflphilosophy.com. Drops absolute gold on Twitter and for sure will keep it up in his own site.
Kinda agree with Sherman here, as douchey as he is. Bayless is NOT in the top 22 of sporting pundits. I'm not sure how many there are out there, but he's got to be in the bottom decile. He is atrocious.
Sherman can do no wrong in my eyes. That just made me love him more.
I can't stand Bayless just as much as the next guy but Sherman did make himself look bad here. I'm not saying Bayless didn't provoke him because he clearly did Sherman just needs to learn to control himself. I'm all for on the field trash talking and doing what he does because it's part of the game. But when you are doing a national televised ESPN show some fucking class for fucks sake. It's all about Image and his potential legacy. He could become the greatest corner ever but if he keeps pulling stunts like this then people are just going to remember this stuff and not his on field play. I guess what I'm getting at is as much as I hate him and Seattle I recognize his talent and just don't want him to become "that's just Richard being Richard" like how people said "that's just Manny being Manny."
Spoken like a true Niners fan. At least when our cornerbacks run off at the mouth it's actually funny. If Sherman ever says something like "ain't no fags in my locker room" then gives up almost 200yds in the Super Bowl come to talk to me about looking bad.
How is wanting a player I recognize to have the potential to be great and be remembered for being great and not just a trash talking loud mouth speaking like a true Niner fan? I'm just saying I hope he doesn't become like a Manny Ramirez type player. But yes Sherman shit is funny I'm not arguing that.
And yes Culliver messed up by saying that anti gay remark, especially playing in the city with the highest population of gay people. And he royally fucked up in the Superbowl to piss off everyone else that he didn't from his gay remarks. At least he is working with a LGBT group to sort of make up for that remark. Now if that is willingly or team forced I don't know. And lastly Culliver isn't the player Sherman is nor does he have the potential and is probably going to fizzle out of the league in 4-5 years so he also doesn't have that legacy to worry about like Sherman does.
Hahaha, I'm just fucking with you, man. That's just who Richard Sherman is. As long as he can back it up on the field I hope he talks trash his entire career. It's a long off season. Other than free agency this is pretty much all we have to look forward to until the draft. Skip Bayless being told he sucks at life is probably the best thing ESPN has aired in a long time.
I agree with the Skip Bayless part, I can't fucking stand him. I know that's who Richard Sherman is and I got no issues with him trash talking as long as it's on the field. All I'm saying is if he going to do shit not on the field it's probably best for him to do stuff like him interviewing people on Bourbon street.

Am I the only one who thinks Seattle overpaid for Harvin??
"BUT IT'S CALLED CALL AND OATES YOU NO FUN IDIOT"- Drinkey, standing up for Rich Girls everywhere
Well still no mention of a contract extension so if he leaves after the season (free agent right?) then yes they did. I see either Harvin making them win the Superbowl or just completely tear apart that team by virtue of being himself. But Harvin going to Seattle I think pretty much confirms the 49ers are going to over pay and trade for Revis.
If it was a team that was rebuilding or less fortunate than I would say yes they overpaid, but this is a team that almost went to the Super Bowl and was fairly dominant throughout the season, clearly they want to win NOW... That makes the price they paid a little more justifiable.
I like Boldin, but that's a decent chunk of cap for a 2nd possession receiver. Is Jenkins gonna stretch the field?
