    It was very nice though.
That's so nice it wasn't that crowded. The first one was always the most packed too so I imagine it will stay that way throughout the remainder of the series. Sigh. This is my favorite time in Salt Lake.

The $5 didn't really make much of a dent but the Beach House set was so gorgeous it helped me to eventually ignore the fucknuggets trying to yell their very important conversations over the music. They always bring it, but this may have come in as my second favourite show out of 4, my fave being their 2011 Sasquatch set.

Nas, Common and probably MMJ are going to bring back the insane crowds, though.
    SLC Summer so far:
    7/11 Liars
    7/12 Raphael Saadiq 7/19 Nas
    7/29 Star Slinger 8/2 MMJ
    8/9 Passion Pit/Austra
    8/16 Iron & Wine 8/23 DeVotchKa
    8/30 Common/Aloe Blacc

Metaphorically speaking, I'll be Raphael's groupie today--My soul is going to be his tonight. I'm expecting a mother fucking good spot. Even in the expected 104 heat, I'm going to dress bangin. Too many references to curvy babes in his most recent album to not show my material support!

Sorry Kreutz, wish you could join us. This may be the best overall linup Twilight has ever had. All for $5, I don't know how they keep doing it.

So glad to see this thread, twilights are one of the most excellent things about living in SLC. Especially when they obviously strive to out-do themselves year after year. Missing the National for Bob Dylan, Wilco AND MMJ will be worth it.

Saw Blitzen Trapper with Wilco last summer and endorse showing up early on 7/18, Mitch.
