    ELO is the shit.

    seriously though- I was mastering some live direct to disc vinyl into 5.1 AC3 for my girlfriend's dad, and one of the records he wanted was this copy of ELO doing a bbc concert special live at the pops or something to that effect. anyways, it was actually pretty damn good. I got to be pretty intimate with it throughout the process of the project, and ELO would be able to put on an incredible quadrophonic show. they were extremely grandoise live performers musically, and it's actually quite thrilling to listen to.

    FUCK YEAH!

    ELO was suppoed to do a huge reunion tour back in 200 or so, and with a Huge stage production and everything.
    Ticket sales were very poor and the whole tour got canceled. Talk about Horrible promotion. I dont think Anyone on the face of the planet knew about it. except for the few that bought tix.

    ELO was the first concert i took my version -2 wife to lol ... they were doing the saucer thing back then .... it was at MTSU which is about 10 miles from where they now have bonnaroo but this was way before the roo was thought of ... so since my ex's and me are all good friends, i would like to see elo again ... x****

    i was told one of their original violin players was recently killed in a freak car accident... but i would fully support this in any shape or form. If not this year then 2012, opening for Elton John.

    Anyone who thinks that ELO doesn't fit into the Coachella atmosphere is fucking bonkers. It's not like they can headline or anything but if Duran Duran and Caifanes (I don't really care that I can't spell Mexican) can have a reunion there, ELO can rock it.
